Stupid Question??

Hey guys quick question, sorry if it's stupid but I'm just curious. My first cycle was a Test-e cycle only ran at 250/mg a week, 10 weeks. Next cycle I'm not sure what I'll be running but the question is, if I ran test again but upped the dosage to 500/mg a week, is there a pronounced difference in feeling?? In other words does doubling the dosage of test do exactly that and double the strength, aggression, recovery and so on? You know the whole the more the better thing? I would for sure be pairing up with something else, but I'm just curious how that would work. Again kinda a noob to this and trying my best to learn as much as possible. Thanks for any input.

Not a stupid Question at all, you will see a big difference in 500 wk,
Be sure to get at least 2 grams protein per lb of bodyweight ,since gear increases protein synthesis.

I totally disagree. But me and Haydez often do. I'm health concious and Haydez likes to throw caution to the wind. What he and so may others do not realize is that the dangers of steroids are not realized simply by immediate bad sides. High blood pressure often has no symptoms. Hell, you can sit under an X-ray for 5 minutes and not feel anything. But your life will be shortened by about 5 years.

The short answer is; twice as much does not produce twice the gains. But obviously, 500 will be more dramatic than 250.

Why must you double it? why not add another 100? or another , milder substance? To recommend 800 mgs to a beginner is a little overboard.

I tend to agree with Nelson. Without a lot of info from you, ask yourself these questions: what are you trying to acomplish? How did you respond to 250? Did you keep your gains? Sides at 250? How "spot on" was your diet? Can you tighten up your diet? Enough protein? Enough water? Enough sleep? Successful PCT? Were you able to follow your lifting program or was it sloppy?

Since you are a beginner, I am sure you learned a lot about your body and how it responded. I am also sure that if you tweaked everything else (other than the test) and put what you learned about how your body responds "on cycle" that you PROBABLY could far exceed your first cycle results without doubling up the test.
 
I am not really in agreement with nelson or hayez....

I don't think steroids cause untold side effects.. I think nelson may be a part of the slightly parranoid "mostly natural" set.. (no offense intended)

But I don't really think there's a neeed to jump into a cycle like hayez said either....

I think enough is enough unless you are at the limits of what a human being is.. What I mean is.. I could take 250mg of test a week for the rest of my life and continue to make gains if I ate and trained right..
But if you want another dramatic adustment.. Up the test to 400 or 500 for 10 or 15 weeks.. Make certain your diet, training and rest are all done correctly...

Then I would say, after that cycle and PCT (if you are a pct person.. I run low dose test when I take breaks) try 250 or 400-500 mg of test per week and adding another drug.. Dbol say? first 3-6 weeks 10mg/ed to start.. or maybe some Deca or eq? start with 200mg/wk.. there's no need to OVER do things this (what I assume to be) early in your bodybuilding path.

i like to mix things and see people blow up for there first cycles...
all my offline friends its quite common for test/deca test/tren test/eq first cycles
not saying thats right but just saying people are just a bit more cautious on some boards
 
Just the way you kind of related steroids to X-rays and stuff..

Wasn't trying to diss you, you just seem the cautious, wary, mostly natural type...

I wasn't relating steroids to x-rays. You need to pay attention. You also need to do some catching up. Do a search. I've been published in over a dozen publications on steroid use over the last 15 years. But yeah, I am cautious....with good reason.
