Stupid question

I googled this and looked for at least 45min. and I still can't find the answer. Does anyone know how many iu's are in a ml?

I ordered the wrong syringes and don't have the correct size for my HCG. I do have the correct needles just not the correct syringes. Would I be better off buying the proper syringes or can I make this work? Thanks.

I think it's 1000iu/ml.

it depends an what you mixed...
in example, if you are using a 10iu vial and you mixed in 2ml of bac/sterile water, then you will have 10iu's per 2ml. so if you want 2iu's then you'd run .4ml

I think it's 1000iu/ml.

If that's correct, and i'm running 500iu's a week then I would need .5ml per week.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct?

actually, if you need 500iu,then it is 1/4 of a ml, and i run hcg at this dosage twice a week during cycle.hope this helps

iu's do not directly relate to cc's.

A cc (cubic centimeter) is equal to a ml (milliliter). They measure volume. For example if a vial contains 10 ml of liquid, that is the same as 10 cc.

An international unit (IU) is an internationally accepted amount of a substance. It is typically used when measuring the amount of a physical substance with regard to its effect and it will vary between each and every substance. iu's DO NOT measure volume!

What was stated above is WRONG: There is no direct relationship between an IU and a cc. For example, 1/4 of a ml is NOT 500iu. You can take .9ml of bac water and mix it with 500iu or 1000iu of HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - - human chorionic gonadotropin - , in each case you will have roughly 500iu per ml or 1000iu per ml.

In sum, if you are playing with HCG, the potency per ml will depend on how much HCG in iu's you dilute with ml of bac water.

did anyone read what i posted above? It is correct! Army Vet is right. Syringemouth think of it as percentages... If you add 1ml/cc to a 1000iu vial then you hae 1000iu per 1ml/cc. If you want 500iu then you would run up .5ml/cc. 250iu would be .25ml/cc.
It all depends on how much water you mix in.

Maybe it would help if I added the following information? I have a vial with powder and another that is liquid when 100% of both are mixed there is a TOTAL of 5000 iu's. Seeing that I would be taking 500 iu's a week for 10 weeks then the question is how many iu's per ml with this senerio?

does it say how much of the solution you have as a form of measurement?
