Stupid Pay-Pal

I signed up for Pay-Pal, because I decided it'll come handy as a payment method. They did the stupid thing where they deposit a few cents into your account as a verification, and you have to type in exactly how much was deposited. I didn't have online-access to my account at the time, so I had to wait a few days while it was set up. Fair enough.

Did the verification thing, everything seems fine. Try to pay for a certain something online, and boom! The little shit tells me I'm on "limited access" and can't pay, only receive? WTF?

Turns out they want me to fax my bank statement to some area code that starts with a 6 for some reason, and I can't pay until I do that. Why? What the fuck is their problem? Did anyone else have to do this?

no i never had that. I just did the checking account verification thing and that was it. I never had to fax anything.

Maybe they have been having some serious problems with identity theft.
