Stunning and humorous: Yates training!

I am a fan of Dorian Yates. Yes ... I know his rep for advanced chemistry and superior genetics. But dam! He is a Champ.

I have his book and it contains a lot of excellent info.

What I really found stunning and humorous is his training tape. He is in a basement dungeon gym with his partner going through his advanced 1-2 set routine. Talk about a "work ethic"! Wow!

And there is this undercurrent of dark humor as Yates pushes and pulls hundreds and hundreds of pounds of iron around ... and makes wish cracks.

It is something to see.

Are you talking about Blood and Guts? I thought the same thing. Coundn't understand what that other dude was saying half the time either.

They are from Birmingham [where my mom comes from] and they speak really funny up there - all 4 million of them! I love Blood and Guts, no BS, just hardcore training - no set pieces, no pretending, nothing just for show. Thats Yates all over...

Hardcore training and insane intensity, but if it wasn't for the drugs he wouldn't be where he is today.

his single-factor training really is nothing to brag about.
