structural wrist and hand strength

As my overall muscular strength has increased, i've been noticing problems with the structural strength in my hands and wrist. My grip is good on pulling exercises but pushing exercises, bench press, weighted dips etc, cause a lot of pressure on my hands and wrist. For example: I can rep 315 about 7X's but I can't imagine even going beyond that because it seems like i can feel the pressure in my bones. Any tips or advice?

Ever try any grip trainers?
Captain of crush grippers will probably solve the trick.

You can always go here and read alll about hand and wrist strength.

the board on the link had an error. is the info you suggested about muscular strength? even though the problem doesn't seem like its muscular, cause i deadlift, do lat pulls with decent weight without wrist straps, are there exercises that could help me, or could it be something else? Maybe I don't drink enough milk, Lol.

It sounds like a muscular thing to me. I used to have that problem from time to time..though it was more of an annoyance than anything. And yes, the info is about muscular strength and stability. I have found the grippers to do wonders for it when I started them up awhile ago. My hands are much more muscular now, and my tendons and ligaments much stronger as well. No problems for years now.

Use some wrist supports, I never go over 300lb bench without them, (done 490lbs raw).

I find the 18" ones to be excellent, best I have ever used.

I have damaged my wrists over the years, so the support for me is needed, but I dont know any powerlifters who bench heavy with some wrist wraps, and despite what people say, they will not make your wrists week, just help avoid a potential injury.

thanks Nytol, i had heard about wrist straps and supports limiting to wrist strength myself. I guess its just a misconception. I was thinking about looking into them. I'm gonna check em out, thanks for the link and the info

Your hands are only so strong, try wrist straps,

I have really strong hands, milked a lot of cows before milking machines, but I still use wrist straps when going heavy.
