Strongbow's Ancient Strength Log

I have been saying that for a couple years now!! I guess they like looking like V guys, as me and my old roomy used to call them! Nice upper bodies, and TINY ass chicken legs. Which also = MAJOR turn off in the physique dept! ;)
LOLZ we have a group of dudes at my gym, all damn good guys BTW, who are completely obsessed with bench press and inclines. They bench 3 or 4 times a week and maybe, just maybe, they find a spot once every week or two to throw in some ez bar curls and a few sets of hammers. LOLZ. All of these dudes are like 260 lbs and up, and they are always asking me damn bro how the fuck does your lil skinny 225lbs ass move all that weight. Im like hey dude its all about the strength in your core muscles, if you do abs 3 times a week your bench will go up, lolz, they freaking blasted abs for a month, it was funny as hell. A solid month of hardcore ab work.:biggrin:
 
That'd be a nice time to workout everyday! Already up for 6 hour and have energy to kill it! 2 hour lunch! Hah nice!
Some guys just can't grow them legs, it's freakin tough, esp for natties. But if u don't work them out they'll stay like that, except for the out of shape guys that have huuge calves! Wtf is that, I saw one older guy at work, prob late 40's/ 50's not a big guy at all and huge calves!! Some guys just have better genetics and other parts easily grow! I know a natty guy tho that has huuge legs and doesn't do much weigh for squats and leg press. All genetics sometimes.

Updating my log today from my training journal. Short week last week went out of town, have 3 or 4 workouts to log in here. Get caught up today.
 
Last wednesday done shoulders and traps at lunch and hamstrings in the pm.

Supps are all the same Post Cycle, Unleashed, Bridge, Ancient Strength, and Preworkout 3 attack and 2 scoops of Super pump. This is from my log

Seated Military 2 sets 135 x 12 (WarmUp)
2 sets 225x 12
1 set 275 x 8
1 set 315 x 6 (Balls out took 3 mins to lockout the last rep, literally all I could push)

Seated Fronts 4x10
Seated Sides 4x10
Arnolds 4x10
Reverse Pec Flys 4x10
High Rope Pulls 4x10

Traps
Shrugs 4x20
DB Shrugs 4 sets of 8x8x8 (8 with each arm individual and then together is one set)
Hang Cleans 4x10

Hamstrings
Good Mornings 4x10 (2 warm up sets with the bar)
Strait Leg Deads 4x10
Tractor Curls Superset with Leg Curls 4x10-12
 
Thursday Supps are all the same, had to rush legs, because of prior obligations and going away for the weekend. Week was kinda mixed up having to do hams the day before quads, pretty damn stiff, made it very difficult to squat. Note to self don't do hams and quads on back to back days.

Squats 2 warm ups sets 135
2 sets 225 x 20
1 set 315 x 12
1 set 365 x 12
I do squats to peeps not fucking knee bends, ass checks sitting on my calves squats.

Leg Press 4 x 25 Started with 4 plates increased by 2 plates per set
Split squats 4 x12 (These are great for seperation in the quads)
Front Squats 4 x10 very light last 2 sets were with 225
Hacks 4 x10 3 plates
Leg extensions 4 x 15-20
Finished with 2 sets of walking lunges. Pretty fucking brutal pace done everything in about an hour, half of my usual time. I made it through, so supps have got to be working, try that shit supp less and let me laugh at you.
 
Friday, Saturday and Sunday rest, and spend all my money at Hilton Head.
 
My apologies to N2 and N2BM, I will have to postpone this log. Have been progressivly having back problems over the last couple of weeks. Woke up last friday basically unable to walk. Had an emergency mri on Monday and have 2 blown discs in L4 and L5 in my lower back. I will see my nuerosurgeon on friday, same one who fixed the disc probs in my neck 5 or 6 years back, so I am hopeing I can get by this without surgery and return to training ASAP.
