stretch marks and tattoo's

hey all u tatted up bro's, ive got some stretch marks along my front delt, which also com along onto the upper chest a little. im just wondering whether u can tattoo over these, coz im thinking of getting a little bit more art work done!
any body know??or even had it done????

I doubt it'd be a problem, but I hear that using retin-a gel on stretchmarks will get rid of them. You could do that then be sure it wouldn't be a problem getting the tat.

I'm a tattoo artist. so it depends how bad the stretch marks are if they are scar type stretch marks (as in real bumpy) the best thing to do is rub vitamin e on them daily for a few months. this will help them smooth out. if they are not that bad or bumpy you shouldn't really have a problem, they will probably just swell up when the needle hits them.

yeh im having a big tat on my left arm which will totally cover the delt, i mean it wouldnt be like all the skin thats going to be tattooed wud av stretch marks its just that little bits of tat will go onto them!
thanx for the advice n e way. im gonna get sum vit e cream and make sure the skins as smooth as poss, then im gonna get my sen looking like vin diesel in xxx.

dogtooth, Im thinking about some tats, i want a big one starting on my shoulder down to the elbow joint, anyway if my arms blow up say 3 inches will the tat distort when my skin stretches? Thanks bro....

most of the skin on your arm grows from the inside of your arm, so if your tat is only going to be on the outside of your bicep it will remain the same with 3 inches of growth.
