strength calculators?

alright i'm not really sure what to call this but what im looking for is a general chart for body size/muscle size in relation to how much you can lift on the core excercises. i am well aware there are a lot of factors that contribute to this like muscle length, density of tissue, genetics etc making this extremely difficult to accomplish accurately but what im looking for is a very general average guildeline ive seen i believe its bill starr's beginner/advanced/elite chart giving weights for each excercise for each category.

i realize this is confusing so let me make up what im thinking of.

waist diameter
thigh diameter
bicep diameter
chest diameter
body fat %
weight lifting experience

your standard bench press 5 rep max should be ____
regular bench press single rep max should be ____
regular bench press 10 rep max should be _____

your standard squat 5 rep max should be _____
your standard squat 1 rep max should be _____

i want to re-emphasize before i get attacked that there are a LARGE number of variables in this, but very much like nutritional guildelines i feel as if it should be possible to make up a general guideline, not for making my workout, but just for comparisons sake. thanks in advance

why use a chart? get your arse to the gym and figure them out yourself, bro! maximum lifts shouldn't "be" anything, it's whatever YOU can lift.

i'm not talking for me personally i know all my max lifts :) i just want it for informative purposes and possibly for a school project depending on what i find

i see, well in that case, i think you answered your question by yourself, there is just farrrrr too many variables to make a chart. you could alter your project to show how the variables make a difference- two people of the same weight, one on a high protein diet, loadsa beef, chicken n stuff and one on mainly carbs, you could see what difference that made to their one rep max's?
i dont know if that would work im just thinking with my fingers.

You said it. I would actually replace the word "difficult" with "impossible". Why would you want to come up with a system for calculating these things if it won't even be REMOTELY accurate?

easy now big fella, it was just an idea he wanted to run by a couple of people to hear their thoughts on it, not to get flamed for his ideas.

idk man, when i go to the gym if i take a look at a guy i can usually make a relatively accurate estimate as to how much he can bench. sure it gets a hell of a lot more difficult when you get to the 300 plus range but especially for beginners its not incredibly difficult to guess...i really dont want to get into an argument in terms of whether or not it is possible im more just looking to see if anyones made one or knows of one although i do appreciate the input its just im already well aware of the problems/flaws.

i weigh about 180lbs, id love for you to guess at my 1rm's, just to see how wrong you are!

once again west i am well aware there are exceptions, but i would bet that with pictures of you along with a lot of information there are members here, especially the hardcore gym rats who could ballpark your bench, and based on this thought of mine, not fact, i was interested in whether anyones compiled a vast amount of information on different lifters (much more than just their weight) and made any sort of program that can give out estimates.

i get your stance that it is not possible, but as is the case with 99% of weight lifting there is a lot of gray area and until i see proof its not possible id still like to see if someone knows :)

just sounded like you were putting him down, especially with the capitals, which were unnecessary to put your point across. but if i interpreted it wrong, my bad i apologise.
