I had this weird feeling the last two nights when I shot into my quads. I used a 1”, 23-gage needle to shoot 1CC of FINA. I shot into my quads; I stuck it in, aspirated and only saw air bubbles going into the syringe. So, I slowly started pushing the plunger down on the syringe. I felt this weird feeling in my leg, I could feel the liquid kind of spider web its way down my thigh and kind of around to the bottom. It happened both nights. I did not get any pain but I could kind of feel the Fina working its way around my muscle. It is a hard feeling to describe it was a little alarming because I thought I shot into a vein and that is why I felt it go in and down my leg but nothing happened. I just massaged the area and I feel fine. They were probably the two least painful injections I ever did but there was just that strange feeling. Has this ever happened to anyone or has anyone or anything similar? I cannot really explain what it felt like; I could just feel it going in and shooting down my leg and around.
