I've been going the gym for just about 1 year now and I'm 18. Over the last few weeks I've been using Pintoka's cutting calculator(thanks, man) and my caloric deficit on Mon,Tue,Wed Fri is around 1300, Sat is 900 and Sunday is about 400. When I started this diet I was 170lbs, now I'm 165lbs, usually weighed after eating, at 1 point I was at 163lbs but I felt dehydrated that day. Now...The strange this is that my lifts have gone up, considerably, even more so than when I am eating excess calories. I thought maybe this is because my protein intake is higher than usual, but the deficit is too much, could this just be a lucky time for me because of my age? Any views you guys have on this very much appreciated, thanks

no more replies? i'd like to know if this is possible or if it means i could lower calories even more without losing muscle.
