Straight guys with gay friends?

Hey, I was just wondering how many guys on here had a close friend who was gay. I've been out to my friends for years and have always gotten along better with the guys who were straight. Seems you don't have to deal with all the drama and crap.

I have no gay friends. One brother in law is gay. He has actually stopped having relationships, beause most of the gays he knows are drama queens who can't seem to hold a traditional job due to emotional issues. He ends up supporting them, so he doesn't bother anymore. I wonder about my brother sometimes, LOL. Several Bi's at work, both genders. No drama issues there, but they do seem a little more vain, on the average.

i have a few friends that are gay, its a non issue really, except that we tend to go to different nightspots. the people who annoy me a bit are their friends who know that youre straight, but try playing dumb while hitting on you when theyre drunk/high...then again, i get as uncomfortable with ...aesthetically and gravitationally challenged D)... girls that hit on me similarly, so....yah. who cares.

No gay friends at this point in my life, have had em in the past. Have had some great conversations in the board though with gay men. It don't matter to me what you are, just as long as you don't advertise it.

I've never seen why it would be an issue. The gay/lesbian friends in my life (some who I've always known were g/l and some who I knew before) are the same people they've always been. As long as they're happy and pursuing healthy relationships who cares who they're attracted to?
