i work for uncle sam.. don;t ask me who uncle sam is . but any way, we are required to work out in group sessions 3 times a week and we take showers and change over in the same locker room. no biggie if my ass wasn't getting bruised up every time i inject, it's like i have to change and shower like a james bond mission,

how do i inject with out bruising???????? HELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP

Isn't brusing a sign of potasium depletion?

Potasium depletion is a side affect from steroid use, from what I've understood.

Try eating more bananas? Maybe in your shakes?

Otherwise tell the guys you girl has this thing about smacking your ass during sex?

1 - Use an extremely sharp, fine needle like Beckton-Dickinson's PrecisionGlide 21gx1-1/2".

2 - Ensure that you stick it in quickly, perpendicular to the surface, and don't overpenetrate. I find it helps to hold it like a dart and use my pinky finger as my depth guide (you know, stick it off to the side of the needle at the appropriate height, just like the depth gauge on a hammer drill? Sorry, best analogy I could think of...).

3 - Don't move it at all laterally while you inject; this could cause your bruising problem.

4 - Inject slowly to allow the compound to perfuse through the muscle tissue rather than just slamming it in ASAP.

5 - Probably most importantly, ICE YOURSELF before injection, and post-injection be sure to massage the area relatively firmly to ensure that the compound disperses itself.

Hope some of this works for you...

i dont know much about all cycles but i do know as long as you keep rubbin your ass in curcles it helps the swelling and the brusing.. even stops it from makin that small lump sometimes

Excellent advice! If you think about it, Ice will make the blood retreat (so to speak) from the cold area. If anything, you blood vessels will be constricted and will cause less free flowing blood under the skin.

If any of your coworkers ask about it, just tell them you are a pain freak and like to hook up with people and have them stab pins into your ass... and sometimes it causes bruising.

Then look at them a little hopeful and ask, "Do you like poking people with pins? Do you like to be in control?"

They won't ask you a lot more questions.

Thanks GP... you're right about the blood flow - cold will restrict capillary blood flow to the skin, which would reduce potential leakage during needle penetration. Also, blood flow to the muscle would be reduced, again providing reduced initial leakage.

One more thing I forgot - if you're injecting into the gluteus, DON'T DO IT STANDING UP! If your glute is contracted, you're more likely to cause a hematoma than if you're reclining face-down or sitting in a relaxed, supported position.

It's for this reason that I always put all my body weight on my "other" leg, from the one I'm injecting in.

Does this make sense? And does this seem like it'd resolve the issue you're refering to?

Switch injection spots. Here's a web site that'll give you some ideas..

For me the trick is to stick the needle in at a good pace (ie: a few sec to get the whole 1.25" in) not the 2mm/sec pace I did when I first started injecting. Just stick it in relatively fast, dont pause along the way, and DON'T let your hand tremble and move the needle around while it is in there. No bruises for me in quite a while...

in theory, yes. In practice, not really. If you could balance so perfectly that your hanging leg was hanging motionless, and you weren't moving any other parts of your body which would make your autonomic nervous system have to balance you out by moving appendages so you didn't fall over, then your strategy would work to completely relax the glute.

However, in practice, a slight amount of tone is maintained in the glute while standing; kinda like revving the engine of a car to keep it ready to really rock and roll. If you're reclining, your glute can be totally relaxed.

My personal faves are the quad and the delt, simply because I find them both very easy to relax, and very accessible.

To relax my quad, I just slap my leg up between two chairs, or on my bed, or on the couch, or wherever and brace it with a pillow so it can be relaxed AND immobile. To relax my delt, I take my hand and put it on my hip (like some snotty chick will do if she thinks you have an attitude) and let my arm fall completely limp. Seriously, feel the difference in your delt between hanging-arm and hand-on-hip-arm, and you'll see what I mean about the hanging-leg glute...

Relaxed muscles have more give to them, and thus both hurt less and are less prone to damage or bruising when injecting compounds.

Have a good one!

After I inject, I always go into my gym's shower and let freezing cold water bead off of my injection spot for about 20 minutes. My balls shrink to the size of grapeNUTS, but I never have a bruise after an injection.:D
