Stilleto, since when has Papyrus Font been considered gauche?

I'm not a designer, but I tired my hand at a poster using the Papyrus font and damn did I call down hell. lol

I liked it, thought it was quite creepy, but I guess it's considered high camp???!!!


I'm gonna try something called Emperor's Scrawl.

Which is too bad. I think when a font is easily recognizable, it's time to stop using it. I never use arial if i can avoid it- i prefer verdana much better, although kozuka or tahoma are good too.

btw, try "Poor Richard". Not as much fun around the edges as papyrus, but a similar weight and feel.

yeah, that's a nice one. verdana is used a lot, but it's still better than arial.

btw, i like century schoolbook way more than times new roman.

Yeah I think that one would pack more punch in a larger font than the one displayed. It's nuanced, so it doesn't come across so boldly in small size. You probably won't dig it, but I like Killer Ants.
