Still wondering about the Armidex

sorry if im getting anoying, but i didn't get an answers last post, my question was: "When do i start the armidex?"

I just took my first shot of 300mg of EQ today, and unless told differantly im gona start running the armidex @ .25mg ED starting tomorrow.

Anyone think i should wait longer to start it? Also, i just cut up a pill into 4 parts, and it wasn't easy. Id much rather be able to cut them in half, and take .5mg EOD as oppsoed to .25mg ED, is it ok to do it this way?

get a pill splitter lay the pill in clamp it shut, rotate the pill 1/4 rotation and clamp the pill splitter shut viola' 4 tabs.

(works with our friends little blue wonders also)
 
so im a dork...
but seriously, i just had gyno surgery, and i know EQ doesn't armotize greatly, but im trying to play it as safe as possible, i've already invested in the armidex, and im gona use it.

Can you guys reccomend when i should start it, and can i do .5mg EOD, or will be i much better with .25mg ED
 
If you just had gyno syrgery then you dont need shit. If the gland was removed you can do just about any drugs and not get it again. Now Im not saying you wont gain water it your nipples but you most likely will not get another gland.
 
darn, my guess is his mammary gland wasn't taking out for him to be saying this, darn, that sucks. Anyway you don't have to take the armidex right away, if you feel you are holding lots of water and maybe feel gyno is coming on then start using it. Eq is pretty good against getting gyno with also.
 
only if u feel them start to get itchy while on eq - .25 tab ED will be just fine - u can take the arimdex any way tho - certianly wont hurt u at all.
 
.5mg/day on 300mg/wk of EQ. you are truly rich. If you are really want to do arimidex, do .25mg/day,that way you'll have some left for a 'real' cycle. There is a thread on taking arimidex during and post cycle to increase Test and lower estrogen,but I don't think that would apply here.

You have no idea...

And no, i didn't have the entire gland removed. I've been getting flamed alot for wanting to use the armidex on the EQ cycle, but like i said before, im willing to blow an extra $120 just to decrease even more the chances of the gyno returning. Im still a little fuzzy on the input though. I thought armidex was not like nolvedex, meaning that with nolv. you don't use it until you see the signs of gyno, and with armidex you just run it constant throughout the cycle.

Anyway, i guess im gona start the armidex after my second shot, and run it at .25mg ED until after my clomid therapy. I know alot of you think im crazy, but for the 120 bucks, and knowing that this is the greatest precaution i can take (while being on gear), it's worth it to me....

Id appretiate any further advice on how i should take the armidex, im also still curious if it would be cool to take .5mg EOD as opposed to .25 ED

you could easily take up to 1mg ED and it woulnt hurt you - it would be terribly unneccessary tho. .25 ED would be just fine - tho some people take more just ot lean out their water weight. on the higher dosages u could easily bring the test back in without fear.

I just questioned running it at .5mg EOD, because even using a pill splitter i feel that cutting these tiny pills into quarters is a pain, and cutting them into halves would be easier...
 
Not so

With regards to Arimidex and other pills that are 1mg of something.

If you split the pill in 4ths you will get 3 blanks and 1 with one full mg in it. You might even lose that mg if it splits and there are crumbs. Picture a grain or two of salt in a tab that’s what is occurring here in these Arimidex tabs.

1mg is so small - the 1mg isn't dissolved throughout the whole tab, its just surrounded by the filler stuff. So if you keep the mg intact when splitting the pills you will have 3 days of nothing (placebo for all practical purposes) and 1 day of a full mg. Knowing the half life of Anastrazole you’d benefit much more if you took it daily then every third day.

If you have Liquidex or something similar (that isn’t water suspended) the consistency is dissolved throughout so you can more accurately dose smaller quantities, but with the tabs just know that you are not in any way getting 1/4 a mg just because you split a tab into 4ths.
