Stickyness Factor...

One way to create a message that marketers want to inject into mainstream culture is to make make it have some sort of stickyness to it in that it stays in your head due to some an unorthodox combination that provokes you in an unexplicable manner... Well, as I work on grad work this morning and procrastinate by posting, I notice that I have that stupid Target commercial song You say Goodbye I say hello theme song stuck in my head, does anyone else have some repetitive song or advertising propaganda on spin cycle in their head as well, its annoying, but I can't get rid of it... Kudos to Target I guess.

yes, the old 5 dollar subway song was constantly in my head

f-r-e-e that spells free. creditreport dot com babyee

Yeah thats the thing that gets me, it does kinda put u in a good mood, I"m reading an article how peeps were subjected to 10 words that were primed to make them polite, all through subconscious priming, and some other 10 peeps were subjected to a list of 10 words that were primed to make them rude... well the second part of the experiment they were supposed to go talk to a researcher to learn what to do next, well the researcher was part of the experiment and was in a 10 minute convo... well the people who read the 'rude' list interrupted the convo in less than 5 minutes... the peeps who read the list of 'polite' words, waited the entire conversation... its amazing how just a list of 10 words controlled or manipulated the whole person's subconscious and behavior... my point is, I find myself in a lighter mood for a short while replaying the Target song, I mean genius marketing... but also kinda shocked how easily all of us can be manipulated through subconscious...

Kinda neat though.
