Humalog post cycle helped me retain almost all of my gains last cycle. That for 4 weeks and by the end my test levels were back to reasonable. By week 6 I had fully recovered and kept almost all gains... now im back on... 10 weeks later... lol

Dude humalog is insuling. No reason to fuck with that shit.

How the hell could Humalog even aid in post recovery? Does that make sense to anyone?

After rereading your post, what did you eat? You gained 30 lbs. with most of it being water. You probably made the rookie juicer mistake of eating everything, because you thought you were bulking. I have done this about 3-4 times on my 1st few cycles. You still need to eat cleaner foods when bulking. You will retain much more of your weight, and not gain as much water (hopefully). Typically won't gain a whole lot of water from Test Prop alone. If I was you I would look at your diet (on and off cycle) a little more throughly. Make oatmeal and brown rice a stable of your diet, whether your bulking or cutting. Just eat more of the two if your bulking.

Maybe your right, I have to look more close at my diet and what Im putting into my body. I just knew I was taking in a lot of water and my face got bigger, and I just got huge. I didn't mind it, but playing the sport and position I play, I can't be moving around at 220 if you know what I mean. All that wieght put too much stress on my ankles I'm pretty sure also and I'm pretty happy with what I gained even though I lost a lot. I can move quickly and I have more power in my stride as a runner. I'm currently just starting a cycle of anavar only at 100mg ED and already can tell the effects of revcovery and love it. I feel like test is good but not for me.

i really agree with everything spare has to say in this thread. i am exactly like him which is probably why. for me to stay in the 170-180 range i have to be eating 5000cals a day or it goes fast. though i gained 22lbs with deca i lost it all and more. so i don't even like to count that. with tbol and now with eq and var i am making "natural gains" i am getting more cut up and getting new veins. the mass is not water weight so it is easy for me to keep it. test is just a waste for me cause i will not retain the gains. i am not willing to tax my body with steroids with no permanent results. i am not a bber like spare i have a tiny frame, 28 inch waist and just very narrow. if i am going to use them i want lean mass gains that i get from hard training and diet. if i put on 12 lbs in 2 weeks i know that i am not gonna keep that, but if i put on a pound a week say on eq and its gradual and lean i can keep it. i kept all 7lbs from my tbol only cycle, it was like coming off of creatine for pct. you know what though i would take 7 keepbable gains over 22lbs that are gone in a week anyway

I agree. Especially for me carrying all that weight and it putting more stress of my body while trying to run/sprint, it's not worth it. My body is not used to all that weight and I'm actually happy that I lost all of that weight because I could not breathe nor move laterally like I wanted too while on Test Prop.

I can only tell you what I've experienced:
- Anything I gained slowly with low dosages, I kept. This might be only 2 pounds a month. I knew where it went.
- Anything I gained quickly using high dosages, I expected to lose at least the water. I still had fun for 8-10 weeks though.
- Anything I gained with low androgenic and high anabolic ... I kept more of.

What I did notice for sure was a steady march up of size and body weight over the years, regardless of the ups and downs along the way.

My set point for years was 185.
Then 195.
Now it is 205.
Next will be 215 and finally 225.
