steroids + faster recovery???

hi guys, i recently posted a thread about steroids and sports. but my dreams are being cut short. well i got hurt three months ago and the mris finalkly came in. i have a sever laberal tear. which means that i have to take 9 months to a year off. but i cant and wont do that. i have been doing some research and i have been noticing that roids bring your recovery of torn "muscle tissue" faster. but i was wondering if it would help my shoulder heal faster after the surgery. so will it help? and any ideas of what to use.. i not asking for straight advice, but to just be put in the right direction and il do the researc my self... thank you

I feel ya man, I had 8 surgeries on my left knee and leg within 1 1/2 yrs. Yes, aas, will help with injury recovery. When you can get to a point where you can do a little weight with you shoulder, maybe a couple months into physical therapy, then I would suggest a very light cycle of something.. I don't know what the best compound would be for this, I can only tell you what I did after my surgeries. I started off with a small cycle of anavar and creatine, 40 mg per day for 6 weeks, then I jsut switched compounds to tbol at 40 mg per day for a couple of weeks. I noticed so much of a difference with my recovery of my injury. It will make a big difference. Therrre are a lot of people here that will tell you to wait until you can workout natural for months before considering using aas. I'm not one of them. Pretty much any kind of ass, from test to eq to whatever will help you recover faster. The thing you must be careful about is reinjuring yourself. You have to know your limits, know how much you can push yourself, and know how much stress your injured muscle or joint can handle safely. As long as you do that, you''ll be fine, and back to normal a lot faster that if yoiu don't use any aas for this purpose. Good luck bro, injuries suck, but you will learn to work around them. Hell, I had to use a cane to walk for 14 months, but I was in the gym at least 6 days a week..

Yes AAS will help because it increases protein synthesis and since about 98% of your body is made from protein you can see why allowing your body to process and absorb protein will speed up the healing. as ironclaw stated be careful on re injuring yourself so an easy way around this would be to only increase in weight on each exercise at the same rate that you would while off cycle.also give your body plenty of rest and i wouldnt train more 3 days a week depending on your healing capabilities until injury has healed. As far as the compound i would run something with long esters like Test E or Test Cyp just to keep blood levels stable, Also don't forget to eat a lot of protein like 300gm's a day. good luck and let me know how things are going

There is plenty of research that anabolic steroids facilitate the healing process for joints and connective tissue!

What sport bro?

YOu on the right track man, keep it simple to one compound. I will let you do the leg work but primo would be ideal if you can get it either oral or injectible:)

That's exactly what most gear was originally designed for. Just don't be on it while you're getting the operation. Ironclaw gave some pretty sound advice. Light cycle, anavar would be perfect IMHO.

They helped me out. I jumped on some Deca Test and EQ...as soon as i was mobile and was able to work out again...and my back healed right up. The egg of muscle fibers went right away and i never felt better. I am 5wks in the the cycle. A total of 3 months after my surgery now. And im even up 15lbs from when i started from..granted i lost 25lbs and from surgery but im over 240 again..WOOHOO
