Steroids and your brain?

Goat23

Here's a question we use steroids to build our muscles to be bigger stronger and faster to make them better, our brain is a muscle what are we doing to it?is it getting better??if we work it using different methods on cycle will it get smarter quicker??memory get better?? We take dbol etc and feel europhric etc so it's affecting it in someway.I'm raising a serious question and has anyone noticed anything with themselves?
Cheers

steroids are hormones.

we take 5-10X the normal hormones in our body.. personally when i am on hormones all i want to do is fuck and lift. those that have low T and go on HRT to normalize their levels are more likely to say they think better, sleep better etc. so its all gonna be different depending on the individual

Lol yeah I get you but have noticed my thinking is clearer and memory is outta this world! Been helping my daughter with her homework while on and have noticed things just seem easier : ) not complaining lol

No steroids don't make you smarter

Really thought it was : ) but it does contain tissue fibres ??it would still be affected, such as var is used to treat burn victims, and it affects other organs.thought it might be a good topic : ) i just seem to be getting smarter or clearer was wondering if others had a similar experience or if I have limitless pills ; )

Why fitguy? And I'm being serious why cant they improve brain function if they can improve emotion function?

well i can argue that AAS that effect sleep patterns can hurt thinking and memory.. it works both ways.

you could run a cycle in the future and have a totally different outcome, it is very variable. no cycle is the same

Boosting testosterone has been shown to boost cognitive function in studies so it is very possible that you are thinking more clearly. That is why one of the major symptoms of low test besides all the libido sides is 'brain fog' like bad memory.

If you have clinically low test then adding test will boost brain performance (usually)
If you have normal test then adding test would probably decrease concentration and cognition due to the fact you are horny as fuck all the time.
Or at least thats what Ive seen

yup this is correct IMO

no one can honestly say that taking 2 or 3 grams of test a week is gonna be healthy for any organ in the body.. you need the perfect amount

I claim zero real knowledge on this subject but on my last cycle I felt, to put it simply, smarter....I could focus better and get more done...I was more social as well....I slept like shit unforts, but that was the only negative. Another positive was that I found myself not even needing the adderal that I am prescribed. I was off it for the the last 8 weeks of a 12 week cycle...during PCT I went back on it about midway through as my mental improvements seemed to vanish and I was back to my 'normal' self. This could very well be bc I have very low test levels. My level was 251 before I ever touched juice, which is absolute sh*t. I suspect a lot of my improvement in functioning had to do with a good healthy dose of test prop, as after a month or so my levels were up!!

I agree w you here!
I have run over 2g and its tough to keep your head on. Sure you can follow menial tasks if your a laborer. But when you need to be analytical and have critical thinking it just doesn't work for ME when on over 1.0g.

He passed "Our brain is a muscle" as a solid fact.:FRlol:

low test is bad, but high test is bad too.

1. The largest brain belongs to the sperm whale: 7 kg (17.5 pounds). The blue whale, the largest animal on the planet, being twice longer and thrice heavier, has a brain weighing 5 kg (12.5 pounds).

2. Human brain has an average weight of 2.7 pounds (1.2 kg), variations between 1.1 and 1.4 kg being considered normal. Our brain represents 2% of our weight, the largest brain
in the animal world compared to the body size.

3. The brain of the men is, on average, 100 grams (0.3 pounds) heavier than that of the women.

4. The largest brain of a terrestrial animal is that of the elephant: 10.5 pounds (4.78 kg). Still, the brain of the elephant makes less than 0.1% of its body weight.

5. Amongst our relatives, the primates, apes have the largest brains. The mountain gorilla (Gorilla gorilla beringei) has a 0.95 pounds (430 g) brain. Still, that of the chimpanzee is larger compared to its body size: 0.77 pounds (350 g) (a chimpanzee male is 2.5-3 times lighter than a gorilla male).

The smallest primate brain is detained by the mouse lemur (Microcebus murinus) of Madagascar: 0.004 pounds (2 g) (this is also the smallest primate in the world).

6. The largest brain of a carnivore mammal is that of the walrus (Odobenus rosmarus): 2.4 pounds (1.1 kg).

7. Domesticated animals have smaller brains than those of their wild forebears. At a similar body weight, the brain of the domestic cat (with an average value of 0.06 pounds or 30 grams) is 23.9 % lighter than that of the wild cat, the brain of the dog is 29 % lighter than that of the wolf, and the brain of the pig is 34 % lighter than that of the wild boar.

8. The octopus is known to be the most intelligent invertebrate. Its brain is made by the largest neurons (brain cells) found in nature.

An octopus brain is formed by 500 million large neurons (while the human brain is made of roughly 100 billion smaller neurons), but the intelligence of this aquatic creature is comparable with that of the apes.

9. After humans, the nature's relatively largest brain is that of the dolphin: 2 kg. A dolphin weighing 120 kg (280 pounds) has a 1.7 kg (4 pounds) brain; compared to its size, this is almost thrice than a chimp.

10. Amongst vertebrates, the smallest brain in relation with the body size seems to have belonged to a dinosaur: Stegosaurus was 6 m (20 ft) long and weighed 2 tons. Its brain was just the size of a walnut! To compensate this, the spine presented a second "brain" in the pelvic area.

I dont just take drugs that help me physically. Mentality is everything. U have got to be in the right frame of mind. I take ssri's and dopamine agonist (cabaser) I discovered Caber improves my mental health. Concentration, focus and drive. Ssri's keep me happy and more sociable with more confidence... My mood was unstable before. Im a much happier person now. I think these drugs go hand in hand with steroid use.. its probably gonna be sonething i never come off.. but to me its just another daily tablet like my vitamins and Essential supps thst Ill take for the rest of my life.

Steroids will affect your CNS and can make you feel more "up" - the way a nice cup of coffee would. I would NOT go as far as saying it makes you smarter, but it does help you maintain a more consistent energy level throughout your day. Energy is where it is at, with a little more energy you can just think better.

ENERGY is what is it all about!

An yes you can exercise your brain and push it to it's limits longer when you have that added energy.

Steroids can and will enhance your sense of well-being a lot of times. That doesn't necessarily make you smarter, but it does make you more productive and efficient. Energy, alertness, and happiness all contribute to that sense of well-being as well. Another reason that pre workouts are so popular and effective :)
