steroid polygraph tests

The biggest problem you will have is like most people have stated is the Polygraph, which about 85% to 90% Dept's do. Forget all the shit about a tack in your shoe or curling your toes, if you are serious about passing the polygraph and getting a job go to www.polygraph.com all you need to know about passing that piece of shit test is on that WS. Once you know how to get pass that test as long as you have never been arrested for steroids, LIE LIE LIE in your background invest. Whatever you have done in your lifetime all that background investigator needs to know is that you experimented with Marijuana 5 or less times while you were in High school or College, no California Agency will EVER hire you if they know you have done Acid, Shrooms, Peyote, or even some forms of Cocaine or Meth. If you tell them you have never done any drug, they will think that you are lying even if you are telling the truth. With the exception of LAPD and LASO I haven't heard of any Agency testing for steroids (thank god!) they only test for Narcotics in your blood. Your psychological test is hit or miss, if they don't like that you don't get along with your Father or think that you are to aggressive they will fail you, most of the time that is the last step though so you will have nothing to worry about.
I don't know what state you're in but California has the highest standards of all states for hiring Law Enforcement. I am not going to say whether I am working or have worked in Law Enforcement for obvious reasons, but I will tell you this, about 50% maybe more Cops,Deputys,etc have done or are currently juicing. It's funny cause there are so many people paraniod about Cops and 'roids, from my experience unless your standing in the street shooting some Sustanon in your ass most Cops have much, much better things to do that bullshit is left for the DEA and FBI. After all I have never seen anybody rob a store for more Deca.........not saying it couldn't happen, HELL... if I keep paying what I am paying I'm kinda thinking about taking down the corner 7-11!!

I am not going to say whether I am working or have worked in Law Enforcement for obvious reasons, but I will tell you this, about 50% maybe more Cops,Deputys,etc have done or are currently juicing. Here's the situation....my friend did 1 cycle of sust about 6 months ago. He now wants to compete for the 1st time. He has a decent build , but it is far from obvious that he ever jiuced. The competition he entered gives a polygrapgh to all contestants to see if they EVER used steroids....he wants to know if there is a way to pass the test since he did do 1 cycle.

Reading is a must for anyone here who is considering submitting to a polygraph "test." Even when answering all of the questions truthfully, those who are polygraphed run a substantial risk of being falsely accused by this arbitrary and unreliable pseudoscientific procedure. As matter of fact, with the "Control Question Test" (the most common polygraph format), it is the most truthful people who run the highest risk of false accusations.
The claims you hear of 90%, 99%, etc accuracy are bogus. These numbers are from studies done by less than impartial groups (American Polygraph Association, Department of Defense Polygraph Institute, etc), non peer-reviewed studies, and studies not conducted under field conditions. The fact remains that the polygraph has never been shown to determine truth from deception with better than chance accuracy in a peer-reviewed study under field conditions .
This lack of accuracy is the reason that use of the "lie-detector" by private companies was abolished in by the 1988 Employee Polygraph Protection Act. Unfortunately, the government exempted itself from this legislation. Bodybuilding shows and fishing contests are among the only areas outside of government employment where this 1920s "technology" lives on..
