Bro, I've been in the Coast Guard for 12 years...you have nothing to worry about unless you put on 50lbs overnight. You're good to go.

Ive been "on" during many drug test. And i was on BEFORE i enlisted. The inital drug test is just a standard piss test. As long as your not using narcotics or ORALS you'll be fine. I was using deca/test. Just dont do anything stupid like when they tell you this is your last chance to admit to anything and come clean, and ADMIT to using them. Thats a one way ticket to discharge. I dont know if you can use HGH in BB levels, because i have taken Many blood test since ive been in. I dont know if that will set off a red flag during blood work or not. But i have taken test e/eq/tren and taken blood test with no problem. Hope all that makes sense. As long as you dont go in like Gomer pile one month and come out Rambo the next, you wont throw any red flags with your superiors. But there IS random steriod testing if there is cause.

I was in the marines for 4 years, and lived in the barracks the entire time, I was able to do small amounts of juice without any problems. Just keep your mouth shut and be extra cautious and youll be fine.

I have been thinking of joining the Coast Guard for a while now... I have also been using steroids for a while now and I am not about to give them up. I am actually planning to do growth with test with in the next 3 months but might also be joining in that same time.
Do they do any kinds of blood work before and most importantly during your term? I am not worried about the growth but I know the test would show up on the results. Is anyone in the military or have been that have used it while serving? Thanks

I was on cycle when I joined up and I was fine.never took any well I was in though but I know people that were.

is the coast guard the 'military'? It has the same pay, same rank structure, same benefits, same drug test lol, but its not the same organization. i think its part of the dept of homeland security after 9/11, and before that it was apart of the dept of transportation. still just as terrible if busted juicin, but you'll be fine.

Like everyone said just be very careful. I've got a friend who's getting admin seped from the Marine Corps for using anadrol and test. He was only caught because he pissed off his higher ups and they were just looking to catch him on something. They got authorization to conduct a health and comfort and they found his shit. As long as you're smart and don't attract attention you'll be fine though.

It's not DOD, but it's still a branch.
