Steak Marinade.

I am grilling tonight. W hat can I marinate my steak in that is delicious??

I get off at 5 and want to start grilling by 7 so it's gotta b fast acting.

Also what kind of steaks do you guys like?

I think I'll get a couple KC strips!

Top Sirloin
Minced Garlic
Worcestire Sauce
Balsamic Vinegar
Fresh Pepper

After all that is soaked up which takes no time at all drizzle Olive oil on both sides and then grille

Microwave a potato and brocolli takes no time at all to make it. I eat that like almost every day.

Oh and sometimes I sprinkle a little cumin on it too not always.

I've used italian dressing. We have a sauce called andreas that you can buy here that is awesome too. My favorite steak is ribye, but alas I can eat that fat no more. So if I get steak (which is rarely) I get sirloin

Ya I usually do italian dressing. I like the KC strip tho, get the best of 2 worlds, the filet and the sirloin!



Has anyone tried those marinade in an hour marinades? I may try one of their flavors

Italian deressing is ghetto as hell(you guys need to brush up on your skills)honestly if you have to marinate it your meat is sub par.A good prime porter.
Rub it down with olive oil,sea salt course black pepper and a little garlic powder.on a white hot grill for 3 minutes or less each side(charred medium rare)Grilled veg on the side and a nice napa cab to go with it(i suggest 00 shafer cabernet from the stagsleap district)Thanks for the menu idea tonight!

vinegar,lemon juice,coke,pepsi,any kind of wine,and just about any thing that is
acidic is a good meat tenderizer. to go one better.lol

Stubbs marinade is good for a store bought one. Flank steak absorbs marinades the fastest, and I love the taste and texture of it. A good marinade I do with flank steak:

1 flank steak (1-1.5 lbs)
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c soy sauce
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 head garlic chopped
3 tbsp ginger, peeled and chopped
2 bay leaves
4 tbsp chopped thyme (2 tbsp if dried)

Throw it all in a ziplock and let it sit overnight. Scrape the marinade off and pepper it before you grill it. Good shit, I promise.

London broil and flank steaks are marinading steaks. Nothing beats a perfectly cooked and well seasoned ribeye. That's heaven.
