Starting over

I haven't really worked out in 9 years. I am not out of shape but not in shape either. Just starting to feel my age and not enjoying myself much these days.
Height
I'm 5ft 4in
Weight
165lbs
Estimated BF%
Starting to see love handles and getting a gut Still have definition in the rest of my body
Diet
My eating habits are terrible...But once I start working out I will be vigilant! I need to do a little more research on what diet I will be doing
Goals :confused:
Lose body fat - Increase my size - Better Strength
Proposed cycle
I was looking at DECA Durabolin-Nandrolone decanoate (Organon) with DIANABOL - Methandrostanolone (Russian) due to shoulder pain that I have. Doctor said it's due to old age and not enough exercise. I believe it's from my years as a gymnast (still rings)

I plan on starting my workout tomorrow Sunday Aug. 15th. Thinking I will work out 5 days a week for a month before I start my 1st cycle.

The problem is my shoulder. I can not get an intense workout on my shoulders, chest, or back. The pain is sometimes so bad that I can't do any shoulder lifts. Not often but it does happen.

I guess my question is do I need to wait a month to start my cycle?

Any information would be great...

You need to wait for a year and a half of constant training or your wasting your time and looking for trouble.
 
The general idea on this board about first cycle is to train as long as you can before starting any cycle. So I guess that is the most common response you will get. I have never tried deca and dont know how good it is to "cure" injuries and I dont know if dbol is enough to prevent the deca dick you may get. My advice for you would be to train very ligtly on the bodyparts that involve shoulders for atleast a month and see if it gets any better. Try to find a doctor specialiced on these things so he can tell you what exercises you should do to make your shoulder hurt less.

Its your body so if you feel that you really want to do AAS the instant you start lifting you can do it, its not gonna kill you (well unless you get a really bad infection or overdosing :) )

Your saying I need to train a year and a half before useing any or just the combination Iv'e stated?

He mean any, if you want to get full effect from it. The longer you wait the better it will be. The ultimate goal is for you to reach your genetic limit before using AAS. Dont think many take that slow route tho, I for one sure didnt.

Walk before you can run. Get you training and diet down before adding drugs to the mix. It'll be a waste otherwise IMO.
 
Pabiker,

I am 38 like you and never was inshape until 2 years ago. I also have trouble with my shoulders although not to the extent that you describe. My shoulders definitely bother me less when I'm on cycle.

I will warn you that with just deca and d-bol you will likely lose your sex drive and have erectile problems after a couple weeks. Most times people add test to that stack but in your case I'd recommend a test only cycle.

When starting out with AAS it's best to use just one compound at a time until you find out how you react to it. Plus, on test I feel like superman. It's like going through puberty again; huge appetite, erections at the drop of a hat, and tons of energy.

But i think the real reason you are using the deca is mainly for the joint problem, right?

If that is the reason than best of luck. If you were looking to get in shape only than you should have worked with a sports medecine doctor (which you can still do for the shoulder and get a boost from the decas healing properties) and got your diet and training in check. You could have worked other body parts for growth and just did the physical therapy exercises for improvement AND YOU STILL CAN.

Thats my advice.

I was under the impression that the joint soothing properties of deca were due to water retention lubricating the joints. In this case deca, d-bol, test or even anadrol would all work.

In my case, my first cycle using only d-bol caused the most water retention and made my shoulder pain dissappear in about a week.
 
As Shaitan stated not many take the slow route. I don't intend to wait that long either. I will get a good 6-8 months in before I get started.

Nydj66 said to use 1 compound at a time which I will take the advice. Which test would you recommend? (Enanthate-Heptylate-Cypionate) I've not read to much on these but will research it more.

I should have also said that I am not new to AAS. I have used DECA Durabolin and D-bol in the past. Was a long time ago (late 80's) I work new construction and am not a total flab ass. If I had to guess Id say I had about 15-20% BF.
