starting clomid way late?

My bud took his last shot of fina 2 wks ago and is now just getting around to getting his clomid, should he even bother using it? He has already lost 10lbs and some strength. He is one of those guys that cannot gain wt for anything, I think he only got 12 or so lbs off his cycle, but he seemed to gain well using slin? Should he say screw the clomid since he has lost most his gains and use some slin?

might a s well take it to get his nuts to start up again or he is just gonna lose even more muscle since he will not have enought test to maintain what he has
