No way, I heard that Jar Jar Binks was only in Edisode II for a few minutes. Therefore it is impossible to suck more than Episiode I.

AMEN to this. Like I said in the other thread, you are right on. The first hour and a half blew nuts, but the last hour was actually really good. Graphics where fucking awesome.

And YODA is a bad ass little green man...

i just got back from seeing it. no, i'm not a star wars dork in line with my Darth Vader mask on, but a buddy of mine had free tickets for this morning's show at 10am and since i ain't go no job, i went. the theater wasn't even a quarter full.
first off, it was much, much better than the first one. jar jar's in it for a few scenes and he's still annoying as piss, but at least you don't have to deal with him throughout the whole movie. the battle scenes are really well done, especially the scenes where there are multiple jedi fighting at one time and you're kind of seeing it from a distance and there's lightsabers everywhere. annakin is a hothead. yoda is a damn ninja. c3pio is pretty funny but doesn't have too big of a role. sandmen are still scary, but they get told. the acting is marginal, but the special effects make up for it.

go see it...pay no attention to any negative reviews you've been reading.

The chase scene was cool, but I thought there was a wee too much talking in the beginning. I want to see Light Sabers cutting shit in half.

I agree, I am not aruguing. I have already watched it 3 times. I have it on my server. Watched it Tues, Wed, and Thurs... Hehe. I am a star wars geek no matter what I think of the movie.

It was a great movie, I loved it!

It was better than Episode 1 in every aspect.

I really don't see how anyone couldn't like this movie but I'm a Star Wars fan so...I guess I'm biased.

It told the story in a very good fashion, the characters were very well picked to resemble their future grown up roles in the prequels. Acting was very good, much better then the first episode. Action sequences were excellent, oveall this move captured some of the magic that was there in the prequels. Good effort on the part of Lucas, and they listened to all of us and just about eliminated Jar Jar.


Definitely worth seeing.

I just watched it, it was MUCH better than the first one.
Jar Jar sucked, the pod race was boring and probably half of the tax income on naboo was spent on the clothing and make-up of Amidala.
Well, the last part didd´t change.
But no Jar Jar, what a relieve. Just wished they´d put the robots in the scrap yard.
