Hey folks,
I've brewed a few times before, never had any problems with conversions etc.. This time I decided to suspend some stanozol in oil using guaicol as the solvent... It's a tried and true recipe, but something unusual is going on...
When I store the oil in my refrigerator, and it hits a certain temperature, it starts to congeal into a jelly-like substance.. It's not particles, it's been perfectly filtered and everything was sterile, I'm sure of that. When I heat it up again, it turns back into a parfect-looking oil, but turns gelatine like when it's chilled again..
I'm really weirded out by this, perhaps i didn't add enough guaicol?
one another note, I let the oil heat a little last night, and tried a delt shot, talk about painful! I had been under the illusion that the giaicol (super Solvent) would act as a slight anaethastetic, but it seems to hurt more than standard water-based winnie..
I woke up this morning and shit was my delt sore, I got a little too much sun yesterday, so it was hard to tell, but the muscle had really hardened up immediately (normal winnie took a few days at least) and was sore sore.. I was worried about infection, so I tramped off to see my gp, she immediately thought that it wasn't infected. There's no small lump, the whole muscle has turned to rock.. I have antibotics on hand just in case, but the pain seems to be dissipating as I type, I think the strange reaction of the oil has just got me jumpy.
I'm certain that it doesn't need refiltering and since I'm injecting it at least at room temp it shouldn't be congealing, but does anyone have experience with oil based before? I think more gaiacol should solve the riddle....
