SQUATTED IN CANVAS...and some PRs

Hannibal was outgrowin his canvas squat suit so I tried it on. It's SO much more comfortable than poly! I felt like a cozy lil Frantz teletubby in it. :D

I hit an easy opener of 363 without wraps. It's actually LESS tight/supportive than my poly, but my polys were TOO tight and pulling me in all kinds of dangerous directions. This suit also took me 10 seconds to put on as opposed to 45 mins. Also, I have a long torso, most squat suits aren't long enough, and end up pulling me down and forward. Since the straps are adjustable I was able to keep my shoulder blades squeezed together, and the weight of the bar was much easier to handle. It was good all the way around.

Then I set a 36" chain suspended GM PR of 270 x 3 with the safety squat bar.

Then I did some dimels and core work. It was a good night. :D

...oh, and I squatted in my Nikes. Not sure why. I figured since my feet are all fubar anyway, I'd squat in whatever I want. ;)

:lmao:

It was a good night!

As fast as 270 went up for three, I think you could have made another sizeable jump too, even after squatting.

Oh, and it should be noted that with the platform inside the rack, the GM's were even LOWER than we normally do them.
