Squats Pr vid & stuff

Excellent work my man!!!

Form was nice and solid! Of course, you are the same guy who deadlifts nearly 600lbs in nothing but boxers. It is obvious that you have been in the game a while.

Any nausea after this?
 
torture!!! awesome. i have no comments other than your form looks fine to me. obviously forms starts to waver a bit after you get into the double digit reps but still you kept it pretty solid. good depth, too.

are you seriously going to train legs again 3 days after doing this today? if i trained legs on friday, monday would be when the pain and soreness is at its peak.
 
thanks bromide :) suprisingly little nausea - I did dips and chins 5 mins after the set. my conditioning is getting a LOT better from this 3 x weekly squatting stuff.

I'm more of a deadlifter than a squatter so I tend to use a lot of back in my reps & I'd like to mimimise that
 
supersizeme yeah unfortunately thats the routine, squatting 3 x a week! I'm 'supposed' to be doing stiff leg deads every workout session too but no way can my back take that kind of abuse.

I have save your video for extra motivation.

These days, I rarely use more than 3 or 5 reps on the squat.

I may use 5 on 365lbs, then jump up to 385lbs for 3, then 405 for 3 and etc. . .but 16 would kill me.

I don't see a person couldn't grow from this type of training. This is certainly something to consider!!
 
thanks guys! remember dr ken at twice my age and 40lbs lighter doing 23 reps with 405... thats what I'm chasing & hopefully by the end of the year I'll be close. 20 reps with 405 would be awesome.

Thanks guys that means a lot coming from you. Tec I don't know if its improving my strength (My 1rm is probably down if anything) but its certainly improving my tollerence for pain and my conditioning and my legs are crazy pumped all the time.

I've had plenty of rest this weekend so I'm going to try to nail the full 20 on Monday. You can see in the vid that I pussied out on the last rep I didnt even try to drive it. Not acceptable, lol.
