squats and muscle imbalance

muscledog95

New member
Ok, when I squat I go butt to floor. I couldnt possibly go any lower. With that said, do i have the potential for muscle imbalance by doing squats only?

depends on how your body responds to squats, sometimes one leg will be stronger than the other

so it's a good idea to do some single leg lifts

what exactly is single leg lifts? I do single leg extensions but thats about it

what happens with me when I squat is that I end up gettin my heel of the ground and its just one foot, I think the left one...

it just happens naturally and cant really help it.. maybe my left leg is shorter or somethin

You might have weak hamstrings and glutes. You need to sit back more.

single leg lifts = bulgarian split squats, steups, lunges etc

depends on the person and how you squat, if you go rock bottom you will not have a problem
