Squats and back

hi guys, going to the gym soon,

doing a compound session, but want to include some legs/back

I was thinking,
start of with

Pull ups wide/close
Seated rows
Lat pulldowns
Squats
Bent over rows
Maybe leg extension also.

Does this seem silly to anyone? its lower back/upper thigh incoperated with back?
 
Personally mate I'd ditch the leg extensions, they can fuck your knees up. I'd go for deadlift over squat as its a back day for you and deads use your back more. Other than that it looks good. :)
 
Ive never heard of people doing legs and back together...I agree swap deads for squat. Deads are a primary leg exercise anyway. Quads/glutes. Id just get rid of those leg extentions... Those arent compound
 
I do legs and back the same day...I do squats and deads on the same day but I change what I do first and the rest of the order depending on what Im looking to go up in weight with
but I also do chest and arms the same day, alternate workout outs every other day continuously
it works well for me for recovery and I push HARD
I rarely puke for even stomach viruses so I don't ever wind up puking but I always leave the gym shaking like an earthquake

I really cant imagine doing legs/back in the same day.. If I do deadlifts I just do them at the end of a leg day. Props to you for doing both! I like to split stuff up more
 
thankks for the feedback, i did deads in the end anyway :P and didnt do the extensions, only due to the fact i got there before this thread was replied to and also the guys on them were in groups taken hours :D:D:D thanks guys and girls
 
i actually like doing a back/leg (squat/dead) day every now and again...
a bit much to do all the time though...
pullups to warmup
row
dead
front squat
then maybe a set of curls if im feeling a bit :rainbow:


my pullups and chin ups are the suck for the moment so Im stuck actually doing curls :(

I use pink db's when I do em...you do too right?? j/k
about the pink dbs anyway :(
 
I actually do squats every single workout ...but mainly because Im stuck at parallel and no further and have no fricken idea why because flexibility isn't the issue...and leg/ass strength isn't the issue but its like some block and I always get stuck at the bottom if I try to go deeper...really pissing me off

OP FORGET LEG EXTENSIONS!
This is the most bull shit excresize machine ever devised. IT WILL fuck your knees up.
Ft Squats are actually good for your knees and will give you much much greater benefit.
