previous PR 125kg on the 24th September
so I slightly modified the basic six week russian squat cycle.

did the first three weeks of accumulating volume and then about two weeks of increasing intensity.(running out of weeks!)
so today was the final day. before a two week vacation.
130 and 135kg went up easy. 140kg was slightly more ugly but well below parallel.
So a 15kg (33lbs) Personal Record.
elated.
the workouts were tough but all were doable.
today was the only day I called upon the adrenalin by psyching up and only on the 140kg attempt. thought the weights above my previous may feel heavy due to repeatedly squatting a lot at 100kg(80%) but none of the weights felt really heavy at all.
following on the back of a 10kg increase in the bench press following a higher frequency periodisation routine I now am more confident what I need to do to progress.
