sprained ankle questions

nimbus

New member
i badly sprained my ankle about a month ago and have just now started lifting again. I am wearing an aircast and can walk fine with it on, but i feel some pain when i walk without the cast. Yesterday i completed my chest/bi workout with no problems, but none of those lifts put too much stress on my foot. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of lifts, if any, i should avoid (i.e. deadlifts, squat, legpress etc.

thank you guys so much

avoid anything putting weight directly down on yer ankle til its all better. no point in reinjuring it and being out of lifting for even longer. just take it easy til its 100%

I would think No calves
No heavy squats unless you put your heels up on a board. That may help

Lunges might be a way to keep up the legs till they heal.
Or use the Seated leg press
