spot on groin

I noticed a tiny red, hard spot on my groin, not on my penis though. It doesn't hurt or itch, no puss or anything. It is barely raised even, but it is hard to the touch. Is this an STD or what?

I would have imagined if it were to be an STD then it should hurt when you touch it.

I'd say it is possible that puss will be formed as time passes. Apply some warm-soaked towel on it to see if the underlying lump surfaces up.

If you are very concerned and have the tendency to worry about STD or matters relating to STD then consult a doctor for peace of mind.

Doesn't sound like an STD. When you touch it is it hard under the skin like a lump or is it just on top? Have you been with anyone u're worried about? An STD that shows as bumps is usually genital warts, and looks like nothing u've described. They are usually a lot larger, come in patches, are skin colored, etc.

It is hard on top of the skin, as far as I can tell, it is slightly darker than my skin. Yeah, I guess I am overreacting, but I hadn't seen anything like it before.

It's hard to say without looking at it, but it sounds like a hemangioma. Has it ever bled a little? A hemangioma is a tiny little, newly formed vessel which is not connected and doesn't drain. They do not hurt, itch, or cause any irritation, but if they are punctured they can bleed a little. If that is what it is, it will go away with time.
