Spellwin spamming BB.com?

sawastea

Well-known member
This is George Spellwin, Research Director of the hardcore bodybuilding website elitefitness.com. I am working on a story for elitefitness.com about how bodybuilding.com sold a controlling stake in the site to Liberty Media (owners of QVC) for 100 million dollars and was searching for some moderators of bodybuilding.com to try and get comments from. I see that you are a moderator of bodybuilding.com and was wondering if you would be kind enough to take a bit of time to answer some questions about the acquisition that I have for you.

Here they are:

1. It is said that, as part of the deal with Liberty Media buying a controlling stake in bodybuilding.com, the site was asked to remove material that could be considered controversial. Have you seen a noticeable change in the content on the site yet?

2. Do you foresee any other major changes going on with the site now that Liberty Media has taken over?

3. What do you think will become of the more hardcore members of the site if controversial material is removed?

4. Is there any changes in the postings that you allowed to let through on the board? Is it more strict?

5. Do you think more moderators will be needed for the site now?

6. Do you think that, with a more commercialized company like Liberty Media being involved, a wider, more general audience will be visiting bodybuilding.com in the future?

7. Have any other comments on the Matter?

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at these questions! Also, let me know if you have any questions of me on this matter.

Best Regards,

George Spellwin

Hardcore joosy sites will be gone soon.

They'll all be watered down crap like BB.com

Too much risk and liability esp w/ joosy being in the public eye and all

Add to that the desire to make sites like this legitimate mainstream businesses and yes, watered down content you shall get

I just find it funny. BRR starts asking me a bunch of questions and now GS is privately spamming the moderator inboxes with these types of questions.

Hey fuckface, back off EF!! You made your bones here, pal.

Don't forget shamrock shakes, guy

I dont think that I'd come out and say Hey I'm GS owner of a rival site, etc. Just a hunch, I don't really think it's the real GS.

Who cares?

There are more important issues that need to be addressed about the buy out of BB.com.

1. Will they still be allowed to have Jailbait threads?

2. Will they still be allowed to post naked pics of their gf after they found out they were cheating on them?

I wish I could have sat in on those meetings. Those points are NON-NEGOTIABLE!!@!@

Absolutely!

Those are going no where. Some of those threads are classic. Hell, before I delete them, I save the pictures first.

Is that supposed to be an insult of some kind? If so, I don't get it. Tools work for a living.

And by the way, this is a tool, too -> :Boomstick

OK I got the scoop...

We have a guy who does freelance writing for EF once in a while, his idea to write about BB.com was approved. But it was NOT ok for him to present himself as GS or even use the BB.com forums or PM system as tools for research. Not cool.

Nobody in the office knew anything about this either...

I got ears to pull...

John Maynard Keynes was a champion of the elite money changers, an intelligentsia proponent of the dismal science of phoney money - a hired gun. Keynes did not get much right regarding monetary theory, however, in one of his more lucid moments he hit the mark when he stated:

"Lenin was right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction."-John Maynard Keynes

That would be him!

If its not too much trouble, try to play ball with the dude and help him with the article. This acquisition is one of the biggest things to have happened to the BB underground in a while, I think it would be a good piece. If you guys are NOT receptive to helping him with the research then by all means pleas tell him that so he won't waste any more time. We have a fucking deadline to keep here.

My post about

best in sport

proved the point, I should be a detective. I think everyone on this thread should give me green.

Once upon a time in Holland, there lived a little Dutch boy named George. One day as George was walking along the dyke, George spotted a leak. After stopping to ponder his pet goat back home for a while, George sprung into action. He grabbed one of the poor boys from C & C and had him stick his finger in the dyke.

Then George went and told his old family friend, Mr. BRR. Mr. BRR saw this as a great opportunity for George, so he told everyone how brave and strong George had been in saving the village from danger. And everyone praised George for the wonderful job he did protecting the village.

George liked all the praise he got for being such a hero. For months afterwards he got to do whatever he wanted in the village. But after awhile people started to forget about it all and George didn't like that one bit. So he started warning people how dangerous the dykes could be. This got peoples' interest. But that wasn't enough for George, so one night he went out and drilled another hole in the dyke.

The next day George sent one of the poor boys from the bookie forum to plug that hole. For awhile it was just like before, with Mr. BRR telling everyone how brave and strong George was in accomplishing the mission of saving the village. But then the hole started to get bigger. Pretty soon George had to send lots of poor boys to plug the hole. But it kept getting bigger and some of the boys drowned from the water and mudslides. So George sent more boys from the village.

Some people started to criticize George, saying things were getting worse and that too many boys had been sent to their deaths. Mr. Collins said George was making a big mistake. Mr. BRR helped out by calling him "defeato-collins". This made some people laugh and was really very clever.

The people who listened to Mr. BRR knew things were going fine and they were making progress every day. But some people in the village weren't happy at all about the poor boys who were being sent into the hole that was getting worse. So they had a village election and voted to end the horrible situation with the dyke.

George was shocked at the decision of the village, but he said he understood the message. He met with the wealthiest people in town, the ones who never sent their sons to go into the hole. Even they said things weren't going well. Some said evacuate to higher ground now. Some said try better building materials. Some said they could distract everyone by drilling another hole in the dyke behind the windmill, which they always worried about.

But George didn't listen to any of them. He found more poor boys willing to go into the hole and he sent them surging in. Then Mr. BRR warned everyone that it would be disaster if they ever pulled the boys out of the hole. Meantime the hole kept getting bigger, but alot of people quit complaining, because they didn't want anything bad to happen.

In the end the hole burst anyway, and it was a disaster. In the meantime George had also neglected the first hole, and it burst as well. But George wasn't bothered by any of it, because by then he had moved on to higher ground and it was someone else's problem.

dont chew on that too much
I lifted it from somewhere and made some mods for shits and giggles
