My friend, although the mods of this site never get a pay check all of them are well taken care of by me. Talk to any of them and you will find out that yet another part of my leadership system is taking care of the mods. I feel if you are helping to cook the meal then you should get to sit down at the table and eat. So they get plenty of perks. Some times more and some times less all dpends on a lot of things. But you dont have a team that liked you and wants to make sure you are always there leader if you are not taking care of them. This was just one of the mistakes of the leaders before me IMO..


However you are right man. You are not going to get lavished in dimonds and purls as a mod here lmao. It calls for a lot of extra work and bull crap, and the mods are held to a higher standard. Like rick has always told me. You are a lot closer to the door and getting banned as a mod then you are as a member. A big fuck up can get a member a time out. It would send a mod packing.

I am looking for new mentors and mods of the training forums right now though. I need people who I know will be a productive mod on the training and aas forums. What I do not need is yet another mod who will in the end just be another mod hanging out in the chat forum screwing off and being a wasted mod slot.

Nothing I hate more then a mod who does not help out on the rest of the forum when that was the forum they were assigned to. When I make a mod and assign them to the aas or training forum. then a monght 2-3 months down the road they are making 30-50 post a day in chat and 1-5 post a week/month in the forum they were assign too. Never helping ban the spammers,infract the rule beakers, moving the threads and the work that needs to get done.

Or a mod who starts off strong and then 3 months down the rode they are never ever around yet they dont have the dignity or respect the site enough to step the hell down and admit they got no time to be a mod. No they hold onto it for ever and keep the slot filled when we could fill it with some one who is hungry and wants to be here to help all the time.

Well for the record we never ever promote anyone to mod with out them being a mentor first. This is part of the system rick and I have put into place. You have to earn your spot and it would also not be fair to the mentors right now if I skipped all of them and made some one else a mod. So lets put it this way. If you are not a mentor then you got no chance of being a mod until you have been a mentor first. We always train the mods first and make sure they have spent time earning there spot as a mentor helping the mods.

Out of everyone in chat right now Mr,db has the best chance of getting a promotion. He gets the work done that I ask him to do and I like this. Will see though.

I was already a mentor, but my wife banned me. lol

I think that anyone over 50 should hold some title here other than "old fart" imo. Especially if they have to sit here and listen to these damn kids go back and forth with all their stupid "nanny boo boo" crap, thread in and thread out. lmao
