I want to give you a zoomed in, cropped version of this pic. I just love all the boys hanging out and supporting eachother. This is the one you pull out and show your grandkids when you're old, and tell them a story about one time when you competed in a strongman comp in someone's driveway in KY. :)

i miss you too big guy more than you know. i know its not possilbe but i cant help but wish the whole crew could just trained forever............. oh well, wishfull thinking right. well im going to try and make around the country more often to train with all my new friends. i plan a trip to spatts country, a new york trip, a few kentucky trips, and some nashville ones very soon. and joker, i might even go to the opposite side of the country just to see you.

Dione Wessels; Willie's wife. They run the NASS and live in St. Louis. :)

Very cool chic. Those are her two little rug rats you see running around in some pics. They are cute!!!
 
yeah it is kinda funny that I wish I was still in Kentucky training and competing with everyone. I guess life isn't pefect cause that's all I really want right now..... oh well guess I'll train by myself untill next time

AND Dione is also the reigning NASS National Lightweight Womens Champ. She's quite a strength athlete herself. And a woman athlete I admire.

But yeah: every one of these threads makes me wish I was there. Competing. :D

I think what PH is trying to say is that Dione has one of the nicest asses, on top of one of the nicest pairs of legs, that most people have ever witnessed on a human. :)

I guess it depends on what you're comparing me to. My competitors dwarf me. I also spend the rest of the non-precomp year about 30 pounds lighter than this, so my mental mirror is off.

B-Fold> My body still hurts all over.....to the piont of having to take the week off from training to let me knees heal....But even with all that, all I kept wishing on the trip home was that it's gonna be way to long till next year.....This was truly one of the greatest experinces of my life......

I know how you feel. I remember driving back 14 hours from Nationals in 2001 with an two ice bags. I would rotate knees and shoulders...and everything in between...lol

I wish we had a crew like this all the time. I guess I am lucky, I am going to do squats with b in about 2 hours. cuthbert, i saw that:) i have a nice lever belt to squat in now too;)

I wish you could see the looks on peoples faces when I show them my forearms from the stones, and they see me hobbling around.*LOL* They think we are all totally nuts.:)

Can't wait to hit the gym next week.....
