I know, I'm not Spatts or Hannibal, but since I'm on the receiving end of their teachings, I'll share what I know.

http://www.elitefts.com Click on articles, theres a bunch there that I've been given as homework.

The Testosterone Magazine articles that are linked to through there are also useful.

These are the articles Hannibal sent me back in January to improve my bench:

Hope some of that helps!

NB...was just about to reply to your PM....however brotha Project has pointed you in the right direction.

www.elitefts.com

Devour it....get confused...and then come back and ask questions. Welcome to the dark side...

:lmao:

Read everything at that site....it will take some time...and some of it will be redundant....but ask questions as you go...and I will be more than happy to help you with setting up your program.

Thanks again, I have been reading all day, I actually went to that site after I re-read the Active Recovery thread, I need to start the AR because I am sore for d a y s after training!!:bawling: I need to start "supplementing".;)

There is definitely a camaraderie in strength sports that you will NOT find in BB...in competition they will literally give you the shirt (bench) off their back if necessary.

With all this GREAT info supplied to NubianBeauty, I'm surprised no one has invited her to the PL Board........

Come on over say hi and introduce yourself! You won't be sorry!

Our sports aren't pretty at all...most of us look pretty rough when we compete...lol. We compete and train this way because we LOVE it...not because it is popular. True bodybuilders do the same (I believe).

If you ever decide that you want to cross the dark side and over to the insane side...let me know :)

Great to have an other girl in our sport!!!!!!!!! Welcome NB!
You'll see, it's very challenging!

NB, you really should post over there. Even the guys who eat a breakfast that outweighs many women are very helpful.

taken from somewhere else but still a good source of info.

Online WSB articles appear at:

www.elitefts.com This is Dave Tates site, check the "Articles" and the "Ask Dave" section

Also the "Freak Forum" which can be access via http://www.deepsquatter.com is a really nice forum for WSB help too.

even more u can check out the powerlifting forum here for good info and lots of helping hands.

spatts: no prob. if you guys are interested in building a weight tree check out the joeskopec site. i just built one of these cheap ass things and it is awesome. i would do some minor tinkering with the specs if i had to do over. i don't know if you already have trees or not but these plans sure saved me money. i built one for my standard weights and for my olympic.
