I just recently sold a home was renting out up there right off East Vista way,and PCH.Area Has picked up bigtime in the last 5 years or so.It's only due to get better there seeing as they are building a 5 star resort right off the pier.Things are definetelly looking up for that city.

if you're looking for a cool beach town.. hit up more centralized areas, I.E. beaches closer to downtown SD or try out OC. I recommend Newport, I grew up in newport and housing values combined with the quality of beach / good looking women is unbeatable.

Its kind of a Hellhole. In the comforting I might get shot kind of way. Newport is nice. Hutington is another good bet.

Yeah it's not that bad! I've gone to the train station many times at 1am.

It's just the kind of places where they occasionally find a dead body in a dumpster. Not much different from other cities.

Honestly there are many parts to it. There's the beach part, the more in town along the 76, where the marines live part, there's the near the mall part with lots of apartments along the 78. Although some of that is a Carlsbad address. Oceanside has many areas, though it's not as drastic as San Diego...

San Diego city address includes near Mexico, the downtown city area, the stadium in Mission Valley, Del Mar area, and the fucking wild animal park, which is probably a 60+ minute drive from the first listing.
