Sore muscle exercising

I lift heavy two times a week. Takes 4 days to fully recover without steroids. I want to improve cardio and shit as well but working out between the heavy workouts is justa killer. I'm not even sure if it is a good idea either.

What do the gurus think?

I don't like that approch... I do, however, use a "Hybrid The Bouncer" approach. I usually will only do between 5-6 WORKSETS per workout... to complete failure... I consider everything else to be a warmup or a high-rep exercise... I can hit each body part once a week... and with my splits, I usually have 4-5 workouts a week... if things go as planned... 4.

Yea...I'd like to do that since I like the gym. I live in the country and it is just too damn far to go all the time. Driving for an hour to workout for 20-30 minutes doesn't meet my model for "economics." I drive a big truck to...gas hog!

Damn yous guys are cool. I workout one day a week real light cause I dont want to get "too" big. I am looking for that Brad Pitt in fightclub look.

Me too! I was told to use lots of winny and high reps with the pink weights. Have you tried that?

I tried winny and lost 1/2" off my hairline. Joint pains too that never went away completely. L-Lysine is no longer an option.
