Something I Admit I Don't KNow

I dont think its the 17aa that causes the cholesterol problem tho-

- Miotolin is a 17aa oral, and actually RAISES hdl and lowers ldl even at hi does

- if I take 30 mg of 17aa var, my hdl disappears. if I take 60 or 70 mg Dbol, theres only a moderate drop in hdl. if the culprit was 17aa, it would be the reverse

- non 17aa's also cause lipid issues

Good point

Well, naturally, the drug is going to have its effects. But there are similarities in regard to the liver being impaired, which leads me back to the original point. No one really knows exactly what's going on in there.

Interesting point about the alcohol. People think that alcohol causes weight gain because of the calories but it's more from the fact that when alcohol is present, the liver can not break down fats, and THAT is what causes more storage of calories. Does it affect the amount of androgen that is filtered as well? I don't know. But it's interesting to speculate.

When people are "ON", they generally eat a lot more red meat than normal. I am sure this also plays a small part in messing with your cholesterol. If you go from eating red meat four times a month, to eating it four times a week, wouldn't it mess with your cholesterol levels? Just a thought I had.

and I thought this was going to be a post about women. I think nelson is right about the alcohol. I go through periods where I'll drink a lot of tequila and it definitely adds to my midsection without any benefits gained in the gym. Good news is it seems to come off just as quick as it goes on. I would never drink alcohol while taking any oral compound. I've had blood work done the morning after drinking and my liver enzymes were elevated and I've had blood work done while taking oral compounds and my liver enzymes were within the normal range. So, based on my experience alcohol is far more damaging than oral steroids. Shit I think my ADD is kicking in this post sounds a little out there.
