I just got back from the vet with one of my dogs. One of her eyes started running real bad last week, now it has gotten real cloudy. The vet told me that it looks like she was sprayed with some sort of chemical. The vet is going to check her again in the morning, and if she's not better we are going to try to get in with an eye specialist who is in town tomorrow.

If I ever find out who sprayed her in the eye they better run away from me as far and as fast as they can.

The vet checked for that, plus scratches, ulcers, or anything like that. She said that it looks like a chemical was sprayed into her eye. The sad part is I was terrified that the vet was going to say it was a cataract, but now I have to wonder who would spray a little dog?

Years ago, my dog got really sick, vet said that someone had poisoned him with I cant remember. Pretty sure it was my neighbor b/c she got out a couple of times and he said she crapped his yard and was a dick about it. If I knew for sure I would have beaten him to no end. Sorry to hear about your dog, that sux man. There have been cases of dog poisonings in offleash parks around here, real sick bastards

I never heard of an ophthalmic vet, I cant see too many of those being around, maybe a vet with a subspecialty I guess

That's the plan for tomorrow if her eye doesn't get better tonight. My vet gave me an ointment to put in my dog's eye several times tonight, then she's going to check the eye again in the morning.

Poor puppy. They double checked your dog for glaucoma I take it? The symptoms are similar to what you've described.

The good news is the vet said this morning that the ointment I have been putting in her eye seems to be helping. I have to keep applying it and the vet will check her out next Tuesday.

Nah, she's either in the house, or in the backyard, which is fenced. It might have been one of the kids in the neighborhood, we had a new family move in next door last weekend.

Well, I hope she gets better.

We had a couple of kids who would throw things at our dog (Lab) and he was chained up in the fenced in backyard. I caught them one day doing it and told them that if gets loose he will bite you.

One day came as the boy was riding his bike past the house and my dog bit the shit out of him. I had already told their parents what was going on and told them that if he got loose, he could jump the fence and bite them.

I called the parents after he bit their child and they didn't get mad or anything. They just let it go as a learning experience for their kids.

I guess they could have sued and surprised they didn't.
