Some questions from a first timer

Hello folks. I was considering (maybe in the future) to do a Test-e cycle. I have read a lot of logs and I think it would be a proper first cycle. My stats are: 23 years old 202 lbs 15-16%bf 6'2 and I have been lifting for 4-5 years, but around 3 years of serious lifting. I am a student and have access to a meal plan with pretty much unlimited supply of healthy foods (oats, chicken breasts, steaks, brown rice, vegetables, tuna, sweet potato etc).

I was thinking of a simple cycle of Test-e 500mg every week for 12 weeks.

For PCT I was thinking about clomid and nolva, but after reading the threads and posts on this forum, I know that this clomid and nolva pct is outdated and there are better options. So my main questions:

1.Is this an ok first cycle?
2.What PCT would someone recommend for this type of simple cycle?

(Again this is for future reference as I want to try and grow more and fine tune my diet and training and supplementation!)

Man, honestly at 6'2" and 202lb, you should be under 10%. Im 5'7" and i was 207 at 8%. I would get your diet and trainin down better first. Bc you have a lot of improvements that can be made naturally. But, to answer your question, yea, 500/week of test is a good first cycle. I would do unleashed/post cycle and some clomid for pct. you can throw in some forma too and hcgenerate. Ive personally never ran any of these for pct, except clomid, but all the mods talk really good abt them. So its just up to you really. If you dont opt for those, atleast go with some clomid and a few natural test boosters from your local nutrition store. ( and i dont mean GNC). GNC will always push their line of products and they suck

test -e for 500 is an excellent first cycle and i think you will do well with it...

yes, your pct is very important and nolva should not be used...

i would go with a low dose of clomid, unleashed and forged pct for your base...
 
Appreciate the input folks. Say If I didn't want to run clomid. Would Unleashed,Forged, and HCGenerate be plenty? Also how would you dose them (as in how many weeks and what amount per week)?

you would actually want to run hcgenerate on cycle...

unleashed - first week i run it at a double dose... 6 caps a day then the next 3 weeks 3 a day... spread out three times a day

forged - two in the a.m. upon waking

personally i would run a low dosage of clomid with it... just a low moderate dose... you don't need much when using forged and unleashed but i always prefer a small amount...

hcgenerate is 5 caps a day... 3 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m.
 
I wouldn't even go 500 imo. I ran 250 for my first and loved it. Virtually no sides and great gains. As long as u eat and train big then 250 will be enough and u save gear and money!!

From what I've been researching though, it seems like everyone says that 250 a week is not enough and at least 500 should be the minimum?

Its really your call. 500mg/wk is widely accepted as a good benefit/sides ratio for a test cycle and is very popular. Some people can do well on less test, but 500mg seems to be the sweet spot for "most" people ;)

Its your call bud but like I said the difference will be made at the gym and at the table. 500 won't be any better than 250 if u dont have diet and training down. If u put 100% in to those two areas u will be satisfied with 250.

So if I end up doing 250 a week, how long should I do the cycle (should I keep it at 12 weeks?)

And since it wouldn't be that harsh of a cycle, what would you say the proper PCT would be for such a dose?
 
I wouldn't even go 500 imo. I ran 250 for my first and loved it. Virtually no sides and great gains. As long as u eat and train big then 250 will be enough and u save gear and money!!

Did you run an AI with that cycle? How do you tolerate sides, estrogenic sides?

Ive only ran 500mg/week and low dose Forma every couple days and dont get too bloated and never had any nipple issues.

Just thinking that with 250, you might not even want to run an AI depending on how you handle sides. Im not a big fan of suppressing estrogen a whole lot. Estrogen is good for the joints and I feel like it improves gains, keeps ya feelin healthy, IMO. But it would be a good idea to have some on hand, just in case.

Sorry for the confusion, but I haven't ran the cycle yet. I am just planning ahead of time and covering all my bases before I give my first cycle a go. For an AI, I was looking at the liquid formestane, but I don't know how I would be dosing that and for how long?
 
dude. I quoted JCMBBFUTURE about HIM running an AI during HIS run of 250mg/week. Not you.

but the liquid Forma is g2g. I would probably either pick up some A-dex or Aromasin tho. But thats just me
 
I wouldnt run any AI at all on 250 wk. Probably not even 500. Have it on hand ofcourse incase you get nipple symptoms.

Nice. Thanks for the reply bro. Im thinkin of doing a run of 250 myself here soon. It will be going down from my past 2 cycles of 500. But I think the gains will still be good if everything is in check.

This, I ran 300 my first cycle, and It was very successful. Try lower and then bump up to 500 for a possible second cycle. But , if you choose to go with 500/week so be it it's a pretty standard starting dose. Just more isn't always better especially in a first cycle.

I am right there with u about the estrogen bud. I didn't run an AI and everything wad great.

And so from what I am understanding, for a first cycle 250 a week for 12 weeks would be plenty as long as I have a very good diet and killer training and I should still get gains (and I'll be saving some money). I won't need an AI but I will consider to have forma on hand in case. And now just a PCT, if the cycle is very light and I decide to keep it at 250 a week for 12 weeks, what kind of PCT will I be looking at and for how long?

Also, instead of using actual clomid pills, would Liquid Clomi from chemicalneed suffice?

Also, what week should I start running HCGenerate?

I honestly think you should give it a try see how you respond. You can always go higher but 250/week puts your levels a fair amount higher than even the highest 19 year old. You can always increase after 6 weeks if you aren't making gains.

I will give it a try but I am trying to understand the how should I dose the clomid(mg) and for how long. Also I know Dylan said to introduce the HCGenerate on cycle, which week would I add that and how much should I take(is it even necessary)?

If I run it I'm settled at:

But I am still confused about the other stuff I listed! Sorry for being such a noob. I just can't decide. As I said in my earlier post, I was just simply thinking of clomid for a PCT and nothing else. Well forma most likely wouldn't be needed until pct, but it would be wise to have on hand throughout cycle. Real hcg is a good substitute! So is "bridge" double dosed. 2 weeks after
Last pin is a good time to start and the hcgenerate throughout the entire cycle into pct is a good way to use it.
