It's tragic that the teen died. It's tragic that people have babies that they can't afford.

I've made a pro-life argument to pro-lifers before about all life being sacred. Their attitude tends to be that you execute someone convicted of murder as quickly as possible and that's different because a fetus is innocent. Well, many people convicted of murder are also innocent based on objective evidence and not the subjective judgement of twelve random citizens. Likewise, even if guilty, shouldn't a Christian want to save the soul of a murderer as opposed to killing them quickly before they have a chance to hear the message of Jesus?

So if they gave her treatment she could make it but the baby could die, yet if they didnt give her treatment she would die and then of course the baby too, there was no scenario in which the baby could be saved so WTF put the mom at risk like that, at least she had a fighting chance.... fucking stupid
