Some Advise On Diet

I am currently 6 feet 2 inches and about 190 lbs. I am looking to gain size and strength. I would like to add about 10-15 lbs. What kind of diet should I be using? I am currently taking protein, but I would like to know what other foods and how much of them I should be eating. How many grams of protein should I be taking daily? Thanks
 
Research has shown that you need approx. 1,8xbodyweight in kg daily protein intake (in g). To maintain bodyweight you need 12xbodyweight in kg (in kcal) if you are not excersising. Everything above means you are gaining weight.
 
So I need 350grams of protein every day if I weigh 190lbs??? I would have to eat like a maniac!!!!

I take about 100ish grams via protein shakes per day - what are some other good sources of protein (basic stuff I can get at a grocery store)?
 
Tuna, cottage cheese (low fat), turkey, chicken, shrimps, ham, lobster, salmon and other sorts of fish. Cheese has high protein content but is also high in fat.
 
350 grams is a little on the high side. Be kind to your body. At 200 grams you should have way more than enough.

Skip the red meat - if you can afford it, eat raw fish.

I've heard that you should have about 1 gram of protein for every pound of your body weight. Any truth to that or is it way off?
 
0.8g per pound equals 1.8g per kg, so I guess 1 g per pound should be a good rule of thumb (I'm metrical, you know :) ).
 
DaCypher - personally, I think it's way off. Look at prison physiques - those guys don't get to eat 8 times a day etc. You subject your body to the stress, give it some food, it will grow.
