The Nature Boy said:the recovery people? how much does that cost? I'd rather buy a new hard disk for like 100, and have your old hard disk piggybacked to the new one, install the opertaing system on the new disk, and see if it'll let you access the old disk drive with all the pictures. now I realize your time might be valueable so you might not want to do this.
Or you could try the tried and true method of unplugging and replugging the IDE cable that plugs into your disk drive and mother board.
It's really a question of time with the babies vs. time fixing this. I'll pull the IDE cable tonight and see if that works. Thanks NB for your input.
