you know what fuck it I don't care anymore

Alison was excentric, perhaps at times lonely and had her own brand of wit. But the times I did talk to her she was kind, careing and cordial. The reason I stand up for her is because one time I did almost overdose on zinc (yea it is funny, but true) she helped me out that night and I never forget people who take a moment to help me.

Are we really above anyone here, Elite has taken a turn for the worst in my opinion. The site use to be fun and the flames were not malistic but more witty jabs. I understand why she was banned, and even in cyber space rules are the foundation of a solid society. But smalls was harmless, and she did have some good friends here.

Maybe it is for the best Al, the boards just lost their favorite wipping toy. I am sorry for how you were treated here, and ashamed to know people will go to these lengths to tear another human being down.

Either way your good people AL, try and work on yourself and use that great brain of yours to do something special in the world.

The leak in the mod forum showed that they were thinking about it and pretty much everyone was voting for it there. I still don't get why they did that though. I'm scared now too.

There was a post here earlier but It got deleted. It stated that smalls logged in to the mod forum using Mag's username/password.
 
the mod leak said she got hold of a mod password and used it

but no one knows why or what she did with it

this whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth, honestly i don't know what to think about the whole thing, but for one i know there are mods on this board who dislike smalls a great deal. I hope you got what you wanted.:rolleyes: I also know she broke the rules and should be punished in some way, but banning for having a password? good god its like getting leathal injection for stealing a loaf of bread, sure its wrong to steal the bread but does the punishment need to be that extreme? No.

And since when was 3 votes a majority?

I for one find smalls to be extremely intelligent, kind and caring. I think the whole leak issue was played up much more then it needed to be.

I often question why i am platinum if my voice goes unheard.

(sidenote: if any mods should modify anything i said then i will be cancelling my platinum membership, im sure you can explain to george why he'll be losing money.)

Sometimes I get the feeling I'm not liked over there and that I'm constantly treading on thin ice.

this is fact, the issue at hand is does the warrent a banning,

honestly perhaps
but Alison is also harmless

Smalls being banned is pure stupidity. Perhaps the higher-ups are using her as a example because they cann't keep there private slander board free from inquiring minds.

Also, this has to be the longest thread without moderator intervention I have seen, even all the sensitive words have been mentioned: karma, banning, triedia, faggot .. all thats missing are nambla and poo, and there they are.

I have been out since about 1 or 2.

If she has been banned it was for using a mod's password that was hacked off of the mods computer...and THAT was not an isolated event...more than once. and the two times that we know about we months apart ..the banning, if that is what has happened, in my opinion, is more a reflection on "how" it was done (ie password being hacked) rather than anything else.....then lying when simply asked about it did not help the situation.
 
What are if we are not a society of rules and law?

Where were these passwords? Did he have a file on his desktop labeled "elite passwords"?

These are the FACTS:

1 - Bouncer knew the password was hacked
2 - Mags says it was hacked
3 - Boach who was in the triangle with smalls ADMITS IT WAS HACKED NOT given - I HAVE THE PM
4- SMALLS ADMITTED SHE ILLEGALLY entered the mod board.
5 - illegally using ANYONES password on the site is immediate banning
6 - There are rules on this board and they are for everyone's protection.I ff you think you are immune - keep this scenario in mind the next time YOU chat via AIM or other sharedfiles software.
7 - Having the password enables ANYONE access to YOUR private info - name address and telephone number.
8 - Smalls and Boach were given ample time 8 months to simply admit what had happened...they refused....that would have been the end of it....right then.
 
8 months? We werent' accused of anything and we thought no harm no foul. We truly did nothing wrong and we didn't hack it. I'm no hacker. All i did was look over mag's shoulder.
 
By the way, why are you using "illegal?" I broke no law nor any written rules. TOS doesn't say anything about using someone else's account.

Besides, everthing isn't so black and white. I didn't abuse the PW. I used it with good intentions. I'm gonna be banned...do me the favor and at least don't slander my name. I wont' even be here long to defend it.

How do you know someone hacked the password? Just cause someone says it was hacked doesn't mean shit.

Where's the evidence?

What/who logged her IP using the password?

When someone is accused of a crime there is using evidence to back it up.

In the end, smalls and boach made a mistake. However, banning them for this mistake is also wrong.

Like I told Alison earlier, she needs to use this time to get out and enjoy life. Just put all this behind her. I hope she has fun living life and not worrying about this place.


Maybe like velvett said, some people will learn a lesson from this. I hope so.:(

I acknowledge the fact that I caused events to have him experience a lot of shit, BUT, the blame is not only mine. Cornholio wrongfully dragged his name through the mud. Why didn't he keep it private on the mod forum? I think he should be stripped of his mod status for that public mockery. We're making up rules all of a sudden, so why not that one?

Someone's posting your mod threads on triedia and you're persecuting two people who really don't do anything on elite. We were only protecting smalls.

Mod paswords are easy to get. Most people use a common word or name for their password. All you have to do is get a password hack that runs all the words and names in the world and youll have access usually withen a few hours depending on how stupid the password is. No real hacking required.
