I am. I got probably 12+ hours of sleep between lastnight and napping today. Yes I have no life. The funny thing was that I didnt even need the sleep either. I'm done doing that.

I have a book to skim/read for tomorrow. I have to get to that soon.

Also I noticed I was banned for the last few days, which is kind of surprising seeing as I'm not even sure WHY i was banned, lol. But anyways I'm glad they lifted the ban, otherwise it might have been awhile before I returned (I would have had to bought plat)
Good to be back.

i'm going to utah 7 day trip tommorow snowboarding should be fun i hope never seen snow.. i'm up

damnit, is that the only thing that gives me value?
For now; Yeah...It's a first step you talk about making , but never do.
Only thing? It's a fucking fitness board, man. Fairly relevant topic.

lol, well I'm glad that they were trying to help me out in a positive way and had good intentions.
unfortunately you are right, i didnt go. I socialized more however, and that was good.
Getting to the gym takes a lot of motivation to muster up.

Just do, i don't care about the motivation that will come later, just do some basic exrecises for now, after a few weeks and you start seeing some result motivation will set in.
Remember the journey to greatness starts with just one step!
And don't give me no "I'll never look like those guys" because you are made of the same stuff as everyone else including Mr Olympia Arnold Swartznegger

if Ric Flair can't motivate him, it's hopeless.

lol, sorry, I'm not plat so I cant see the picture.

But Ric Flair is cool, I used to use him in this one wrestling game I had for N64.

By the way, when you guys say go to the gym: are you implying that you want me to lift? or would cardio suffice too?

Ouch, basic psych physiology. Hmmm, a neurotransmitter goes across the gap and fits into a receptor site that is specific to that causing that neuron to fire. Thats too intricate how about a less hard psych theory question, give me another shot pleaz, pleaz

Death and Dieing Kubler-Ross?

Now thats too easy, stages of grief, mainly death
1. denial
2. anger
3. bargaining
4. depression
5. acceptance

the progession of thinking about a loss. Each stage must be completed to be healed, cannot skip steps and people can get stuck in one stage. Counselors use this all the time in cognitive therapy. Okay, a medium hard question then, are you studying brain physiology right now or something else.

heehee I really like this theory... I totally see myself go through these stages with many things... really makes you think... a medium question okay... name and explain the types of memory disorders...

Formulations there of can be adapted to any trauma. Loss of life, limb, even in really cool cases to the loss of specific disorders themselves. The stage chain is CLASSIC in the sypmtoms dislplayed by MultPersonality Disorder sufferers that have actually been 'cured' or 'given up' the hold of one or more personalities.

I loved school.

Even a relationships follows this pattern... For me anyways.. I love school too... But it seems the more I learn the dumber I feel.. Because with the more you learn you realize that there is even more you don't understand...

Ive heard it so many times, it seems like every counseling class I took drilled that over and over and then when I did my psch445 practicum, I just wanted to strangle our discussion leader when this was brought. I did practicum at the colleges' sexual information referral center hahaha! I did b/c I was the only guy that signed up. Someone had to be on the crisis line. In a whole year I got one phone call. Someone called up and said "my dick is on fire" and hung up... I'll never forget that call. I had to write about it and present it our discussion group about that interaction. I was like that goddamn kid.

Okay the question, damn woman...what kind of question is that? There are a ton of memory disorders and ways to classify them. Long term storage problems like 50 first dates movie, short term storage, alzheimers, dementia, cerebral infarcts (a stroke). Okay whats the answer to that one, No I done want to know LOL! No more list questions, whats on the page youre studying right now.

Wait until you teach something.... :artist:

After I started teaching? HOLY SHIT did i feel dumb...LOL.

I learned more from my students and their hunger than I ever did in school. Wicked good stuff.

Yeah they use that process for every negative event, everything, losing car keys etc...
Oh yeah the first two years of a college major is just to build your vocabulary so you can understand how to read 3rd and 4th year books. Whats your major?

okay first off the 50 first date thing is fiction... what I was looking for was retrograde amnesia and anterograde amnesia... retrograde you are no longer able to recall old long term memories and the anterograde is when you can no longer form long term memories think the movie memento....

I am pre med

Thats what I meant although I forgot about retrograde and anterograde terms. Yeah I remember the first time I heard about not being able to form long term memories. As soon as short term memory dumps the transfer doesnt take place I thought that was so weird. Dang I had a whole semester third year on cognition and memory, I should have been able to answer that better.

Premed eh? What year? Any thoughts on your field, I work in cardiology, ask me a question about the heart I dare ya :qt:

Heehee well those are the two basics that is why I thought it was a medium question... I am working still on my bachelors.. Going for human biology.. I am going into forensic pathology so I have many years of school ahead of me… But I now work within the field and have done a lot of work…

Heart hmmmm.... you must be a very confident fellow... I could never work on the living I am afraid to have someone’s life in my hands...

right now I am going over the bandura theories... social learning and the concept of modeling

I love albert banduras social learning theory. I used it once for a paper arguing learning violence from tv, I through a lil enculturation from anthropology 101. Violence teaches and they then in turn seek out more violent programming.

Forensic pathology, interesting when I was a young kid my dad was a hospital administrator and his best friend was a forensic pathologist. He used to fly around three states working, flew his own plane. He told me the wildest stories about strange cases Ill never forget him. So you must watch the show DR G. medical examiner. No you prolly dont have cable.

The heart is the most interesting I found. Opening up an artery in the cath lab stopping a heart attack working fast, time is muscle you dont have time to worry, plus its really easy, but I dont do that much anymore, I mainly just work in clinics doing stress testing, determining the risk of heart disease and ultrasound examinations of the heart. Its amazing looking inside the body and seeing the heart move. But there is lot of death and dying in the heart business, can get to you when you really click with a patient and then they die.

How are you in the field, do you work in a morgue? Or are you out there at crime scenes helping out like CSI.
