So what should I eat?

I read the forum on the top five worst foods, there were an assortment of lots of things that i shouldn't be eating. What should I be eating to lose a bit of fat and help me tone up?
 
1. Chicken
2. Oatmeal
3. Broccli
4. Egg Whites
5. Fresh fruit

Just avoid animal fat and any type of sugar (expept for a few fresh fruits.)
 
Slightly different, but here's my top 5:

Oatmeal
Tuna
Chicken
Flax seed oil (Or SOME source of good fats)
Veggies (always good)
 
my version of top 10 to lean out:
oatmeal
brown-rice
chicken breasts->skinless
turkey breats->skinless
egg-whites
tuna
fish
lean beef (eye round)
all natural peanut butter
flaxseed oil
(no sugars)

That post made me feel a lot better, cause on some other post someone was saying how they need fat to burn fat and i believe that but i also think that it should be limited. I usually eat some dannon light and fit vanilla yogurt with oatmeal in it, celery, carrots, sugar snap peas, peatnut butter on rice cakes and some fruit...plus i drink about 2 gallons of water a day...i had to work that up from one gallon and then i got to 2....then maybe some fish and salad or chicken and salad for dinner...i try to stay away from pastas....its working well, i feel great! And i work out everyday...i see improvements, my clothes are all too big for me now and i had to get new shorts for the summer!
 
whats up w/ oatmeal I'm on par w/ everything but that is that just for complex carbs for a morning meal
