So, what does everyone work out for here?

Definitely helps with stress.

When I'm pissed, I hit the gym. ...and for about an hour or so, EVERYTHING IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD.

Aside from that, being a 100lbs pencilneck growing up wasn't much fun. I get much more respect now, and it's a confidence booster.

When you're tossing a chick around in bed, and they're grabbing your arms and hitting your rock solid chest, things are good!

I started to get in form for the army. Didn´t work though, was not enough time.
I just sticked to it lateron, besides i need something for the body, only reading books all day and listen to the profs would be too one sided.
 
It is my discipline in an ever-chaotic world the ability to control, to enhance your own life for how many time are you allotted this privilege.

Control. The rest of my life is pretty stressful to me. Lifting keeps me sane.

It also builds my self-confidence in many ways (social and otherwise).
 
I hated beeing skinny and I love too see how I improve and grow bigger every year.

The thing that keeps me going is those extra 10lbs I´ve never managed to lift before. I just never get enough.
