So that cocksucker Lucas finally sold the rights to star wars...

The good thing is that Lucas likes to fuck with his movies. He goes back and re-edit's, add CGI effects, etc. So, now hopefully he won't be able to do that anymore.
The bad news is that Disney has never put too much effort into any of their catalog titles except for their own animation. They ignored Touchtone, Buena Vista and Miramax catalog titles on DVD until DVD was dying off, then they sold off most of those catalog titles as Bluray took over.

Was supposed to be ten. But the script for shadows of the empire which fell between empire and Jedi was too short
A new star wars movie couldn't be any worse than the last three....or could it?

I liked the movies. Excited to see a new one. I can't imagine disney putting this much money into a movie and not doing anything with it.

After seeing how disney did the last Tron movie, which was teh awesome....i'm kind of intrigued. Two problems..1)The old cast is too old so they'll have to pick from these new generation of dooshbag actors that can't act out of a nutsack 2) Supposedly Lucas is still going to be brought on as a consultant and have input into the story.....uh uh, no way. Disney should cut the old bastard loose. We paid you 4 and half bills now fuck off you suck. If i was at that creative meeting and heard even the most minimal of lip about some jar jar type character i would come over the table on him.

You can almost guarantee his contract had some sort of executive producer clause, probably with complete veto power of the producer, director and script. Lucas and his buddy Spielberg both have a notorious reputations for fucking with and fucking over everyone they get involved with.
The original DVD of Poltergeist was recalled and scrapped after Tobe Hooper talked about them on the commentary track.

i didn't know that about spielberg but Lucas, yeah he's a reknowned cocksucker. ANd frankly for 4.5B Disney should be able to say "See ya"....he said he's done with the saga so be done with it. He has absolutelyy zero creative bone left in him, and hasn't for a long long time.

Speilberg's supposed to be an even bigger douche. Some time when you feel like it, look up the story behind Vic Morrow and the 2 Asian immigrant children that were decapitated by a helicopter blade on the set of The Twilight Zone movie. All evidence points towards a coked up Spielberg and John Landis causing the death of an actor and 2 children.
