so now things are wierd at work

now that i got promoted, the people i work with already distanced themselves from me. i mean we still have to work together and have each others backs incase something goes down but this is rediculous. im guessing it will blow over but in the meantime this sucks.

That is just part of being higher up on the ladder. You can't be as chummy as you used to be with everyone. I know it sucks, but it is part of doing your job well. That was weird for me when I first became a lawyer. I had to learn that you can't go have girls' night out with the staff. It just doesn't work.

The distance is probably best for the sake of respect. If you stay to chummy with them you may lose theirs.
